Reposted from 🇬🇧 As an Asian student studying abroad, Asian food is undoubtedly an effective short-term cure for homesickness. Located in the middle of Birmingham’s Chinese Quarter, this Japanese restaurant manages to remain the authentic Japanese flavour in its quality dishes. Last time I went there, I tried the eel rice bowl (unadon) which fulfilled my crave for donburi. Do give it a try if you happen to be around! 📍 Review

This was the first time I had sushi in a boat. I remember being so excited by the smoke 😂 The restaurant wasn’t busy at all during lunch time so me and my friend could really admire the restaurant. It’s probably the best looking Japanese restaurant I’ve been to in Birmingham and the staff were super nice too. The sushi was so fresh and I love the selection as well. I thought it would be way more expensive for the setup and taste.
Verdict: For the Gram AND for the TUM!!!
