Mental Health Week 13th - 19th May.

I have been thinking about what I can say to support anyone currently suffering with their own mental health (or maybe how they can support someone else) and I am by no means an expert but I am a qualified Mental Health First Aider and have like so many been affected by mental health.

So today I wrote the below centred on Habit Forming based on Stephen Covey’s work on ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People.’

My advice to anyone wondering how they can ‘help’ to support someone else (either directly or indirectly) other than what is outlined on the various fantastic charity pages such as Mind or the Samaritans for example, stems from Covey’s 5th Habit; ‘Think first to understand, then be understood,’ see below for more of my thoughts on this and overall, just remember to .
