Not sure how well this will be sign posted from the Darwen side but you will still be able to reach the salon and come down Gib lane.

🚧 Major roadworks in the Brokenstone Road area of Blackburn 🚧

👷🏼‍♂️ Please note that works will start on Tuesday to install gas, electricity and water services to a new housing development at Brokenstone Road

📆 PN Daly are undertaking the works on behalf of Barratt Homes and Taylor Wimpey

⛔️ In order for it to be done safely, Brokenstone Road will need to close from the roundabout at the top of Gib Lane to Stockclough Lane – please tag anyone you know who regularly uses this route

➡️ If you use this road, please follow the diversion down Gib Lane and on to Livesey Branch Road

➡️ A diversion route for HGVs will follow the A666 Bolton Road and then Livesey Branch Road

✅ Businesses will be open as usual throughout the works – please follow the signs in place

🏁 Due to the scale of the works, the road is estimated to be closed until the end of February 2023
