We haven't posted for a while so here is a selection of garage doors we have installed recently..... Off out to install more doors today 😍

Replacement Hormann cables and rollers the old rollers had seized due to salt air corrosion. This door would only open a few inches before it jammed!

Today we Installed an almost identical set of Fort Doors Medium horizontal rib doors. With Ivory frames and ruby red doors. The old lady who owns the door to the left hand difficulty lifting her arms so we requested the handle to be lower on her door than the standard position. So she can now open her door pain free.

Today we were in Burnley installing a replacement door as close to like-for-like as possible. The old garage door had unfortunately had its day after an attempted break in.

Fortunately we undertake insurance work.

This afternoon we replaced a pair of Alutech sectional door cables.

3 other companies said this wasn't possible 🤔

we also advised the customer on the general maintenance of their garage door. The salty sea air has a horrible effect on unprotected metals.

Out with the old and In with the new

Old garage door motor exchanged and new springs added to replace the almost non existing original springs.

We even edited the over grown bush on the outside of the garage that was causing issues with the operation of the garage door.

Gardening is not our speciality!!! 🫣

SecuroGlide original installed in Lytham earlier this week and a pvc door to the rear of the garage to match the rest of the house Irish oak on white with silver furniture.

Today was a little bit interesting.... I was given a job by a manufacturer who had a warranty claim on a door that they had made. So they supplied a complete new product for me to exchange under warranty At no expense to the end customer. Excellent after sales service doors

A local company had installed the door. I arrived thinking this will be a quick job following on from a fellow professional garage door installer. How wrong can you be. You can be this wrong.!!!!!

Not all garage door installers are made equal. 💪🏻

Sometimes we can't repair a garage door. This motor is approximately 40 years old.

But we can replace them even on a door that is 40 years old as long as the door is working. 😁

Today's first Installation was this rather striking SecuroGlide original Insulated roller door.

These doors are excellent and the manufacturer believes this to be true also.

This particular model comes with a 7 year warranty!! 👌🏻

The day in the life of a garage door fitter. The old wooden door that we removed had a piece of wood jammed into the lifting gear to keep the door open 🫣

But not anymore 😀 we have installed a nice new Hormann vertical rib garage door. We have taken time to remove the coaxial cable that ran through the existing garage door frame and did a thorough job of removing all the old paint and mastic pointing from the brick work.

For a perfect finish we even scribed the new architraves to the brickwork

On my first visit to this job this is how I found the old garage door on the floor 🤨 as it turns out the roller door cost less than £1000 when Installed.... Say no more

So I secured the door and placed an order for a new side hinged garage door that the customer wanted to match the fence as near as possible.

So we went with the vertical rib design 50/50 split finished in traffic grey. 😁 This door won't end up on the floor like the old one👍

Another repair completed

Cardale cables snapped due to lack of maintenance and the customer cut the second cable to close the door😞

Both cables replaced as standard practice and tensioned the lifting spring followed by a good amount of oil on all moving parts👍

Job done 😀

The frame has been fully covered in rosewood pvc that has been scribed to the walls for a perfect fit. To match the appearance of the customers front door.

I haven't posted for a while it was getting boring posting the same pictures of the same doors just different locations over and over again. But here is something a little different 😁 here we have a GRP side hinged door installed in Lytham earlier this week we also replaced the side and rear window to the garage and the side fascia but due to technical difficulties I seem to have lost the photos for those parts of the job. But not to worry the garage door is the main thing that gives this garage kerb appeal. Please leave your thoughts in the comments. 👍

GDS Thermaroll 77 installed today in South Shore. Certainly makes a big difference to the overall appearance of this garage👍

Today's customer has had their driveway block paved and had changed the level of the floor. Resulting in the old Hormann garage door unable to close fully and the old framework had gone quite rotten. So we replaced the 20 year old door and removed the rotten timbers and rebuilt the bottom portion of the garage frontage. Installing a taller garage door to even out the appearance of the garage front.

Anthracite grey westhill wide rib with stainless steel D handles very nice looking doors. Don't be distracted though by the handsome guy in the reflection 😁

White hartshill garage door with a black frame. The customer wanted a traditional looking garage door to be in keeping with the rest of the house. I think this checked that box ☑️
