A fabulous day of new solos and duos on Saturday, great work everyone. We are looking forward to seeing them progress.

Thanks UKA Dance for inviting me to choreograph and adjudicate for performer of the year, it was lovely to see so many talented dancers compete on stage from all around the country and catch up with everyone too, well done to all involved.

We would like to thank everybody that took part in our raffle, tombola, name the teddy, auctions etc and our helpers front of house who worked on the tables and on the entrances along with running the auction and reading out the winners. Also to all our kind red shoes family who brought in fabulous gifts for our audience to win.
We have just sent over this year‘s donation which totals to £729.38 with gift aid to Brian House Hospice.

Wow, can't believe it has been a week already since showtime, so let's keep the buzz going.
It has been amazing the week to hear the incredible performance feedback, thank you for all your beautiful comments, they mean so much to ourselves and all the cast.
Some of you may have already have heard the whispers going around, this is our Showtime theme for 2025.
Hope you are all as excited as we are.
In 2025 will be celebrating 20 years of our red shoes family, we would love you to comment below on how many years have you been part of our academy and what you think of our next years musical.

Last night our Monday night upper senior ballet class invited myself and Miss Sandy out for an end of an era meal to celebrate their time with us before heading off to dance colleges and universities.
When we sat down we were presented with an amazing array of beautiful gifts, flowers and cards, also they had all worked hard putting together a memory book full of photos spanning 15 years, not just of themselves but also red shoes family who have moved onto careers before them, so had such a lovely evening trip down memory lane, we didn’t stopped chatting and laughing for over 4 hours, thank you so much for the invite, we both had a lovely time reminiscing and chatting about your fabulous futures, we are so proud of you all and look forward to following your careers.
You will be missed not only by ourselves but also the students and parents who say you are an inspiration to our next generation and lovely to have around.
We know some of you are still going to try and come to attend one session a week, even with your busy schedules, so we look forward to seeing you then and hope those who can’t pop in as often as they can.

As we end for summer break, we can’t thank you enough for all the beautiful gifts, cards, hugs and kind words we have received over the last few weeks, always remember you are all amazing and incredibly special.

You don’t realise the difference you all make to the academy and ourselves each and every day, thank you for another great year celebrating lots of highs and simply being your amazing selves.

We hope you have a great summer holiday and we look forward to seeing you back in September or for private lessons during the break. We will miss you all.

The photo says it all, we could never say enough thank yous for all you did yesterday at Showtime and dress rehearsal, without each and everyone of you our superstars would not be able to perform on stage.
You all pulled togeather to do the quick changes and get them to the stage on time, right from our youngest to our eldest, you all took on each of each others groups to get the job done.
Not forgetting our graduate students that came back to also help from long distances away.
A big thank you to Jacqui who was who has been in for three weeks in preparation for helping get everyone organised backstage.
Also, our front of house members that were helping to raise money for Brian House Hospice and all those who kindly donated prizes for the raffle, tombola etc. 
As always, we want to thank everyone at the Joe Longthorne Theatre you were fabulous as always.
Not forgetting everyone who stayed behind at the end after a busy day to help carry all the props, costumes, mats, etc down the pier, it’s a long and heavy trek.
I know we mentioned it on our post to the students, but thank you again for our beautiful flowers and cards. They mean so much to us, you all feel our heart of pride.
Don’t forget to get your order in from Mike at Creative portraits for the ShowUSB so you can relive the enjoyment year after year. They should be ready within four weeks.
Also massive thanks to Yan (Amy’s partner) for coming down last minute and taking lots of photos in the audience. Great to hear you enjoyed the show and we can’t wait to see what you captured. 
Any parents/grandparents dressing at this years Showtime who we didn’t catch before you went home please pop and see us at the studio this week, we ran out of time at the end to see everyone.

Wow, what incredible shows you gave us yesterday, you never cease to amaze us how much talent you show on stage, right from our youngest to our seniors.
The comments flying around the audience were amazing and the happiness on their faces were so excited.
It was great watching all our red shoes family friendships helping each other with quick changes and laughter all the time in every age group.
We would love to hear your showtime comments below and please add us backstage photos as you know it’s a bit crazy on show day, so we didn’t have chance to take any pics.

Miss Sandy and myself must still say thank you so much for the beautiful flowers and cards. All the words are so lovely and will stay in our hearts forever.

Day 3 Exam results, it’s great to see the pride on students faces when receiving their incredible grades and comments on reports.
Well done everyone we know we have already said twice this week how proud we are, but it truly continues as the week goes on. 
Such a busy week with both exam presentations and Shows.

TIME TO CELEBRATE:-
All set up ready for exam presentations week, hope you are as excited as ourselves to share such amazing results once again this year.

We have over 200 exams to be presented.

Please take plenty of photographs and share in the comments below we love to see them.

Parents/grandparents/friends/family members, all welcome don’t forget to arrive 15/20 minutes prior to the end of normal class time to see our red shoes family receive their award. 

Please also continue to share the word about Showtime we still have tickets available, such a busy but fun filled week. 

NO EXTRA SESSIONS NEEDED THIS WEEK:-
All dance classes who have currently been doing double sessions in preparation for Showtime, with it being presentations this week and how pleased we were watching them on stage yesterday we do NOT need them to attend both days this week.
Please attend your normal time only.
So proud of how well they have all come together and worked as a team on stage.
