We have an exciting opportunity for a joiner/tradesperson to join our family run construction company. As an important member of our team, you will help us ensure we give our very best to every customer.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our experienced team.
You will be responsible for a variety of joinery tasks involving both residential and commercial works. The role requires both independent work and collaboration with the team, strong logical thinking, and a solid work ethic to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• To help us complete larger projects including extensions, loft conversions, structural alterations
• To help us complete regular maintenance work on commercial contracts in the local leisure and housing industry
• To complete joinery works including kitchen fitting, timber framework, stud walls etc,
• To complete smaller joinery works independently including hanging doors, skirting boards, door frames and architraves etc
• To be able to make repairs where needed to existing woodwork.
• Must be able to use own initiative.
• Provide friendly, tidy, and professional service when interacting with the public.
Requirements:
• Full driving licence. Own vehicle an advantage but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Own hand and small power tools desirable.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including manual handling.
Employment Details:
• Working hours: between 8am - 5pm, Monday – Friday with occasional overtime.
• Weekly pay.
•Great rates of pay depending on experience.
• 28 days holiday, including bank holidays.
• Company pension.
• Company vehicle can be provided.
• Works located around Wyre and Fylde.
• Workwear provided.
We would ideally like someone full-time, but we are happy to accept applications from people seeking less hours/days due to current employed or self-employed commitments.
Candidates who could offer a minimum 2/3 full days each week regularly would be preferred. These days can be negotiated.

This is a new GRP fibreglass flat roof in Thornton that we completed for a customer.
Unlike other companies, we don't just go 'over the top' of your existing roof. We strip it all back, re-insulate if required, and then add all new roof boards before completing the fibreglass coating. This ensures you have a fully waterproof finish that will last years.
