FREE SWITCH-ON LIGHT-UP WRISTBANDS ✨
Get ready to shine the night away! The big Switch-On moment will be followed by a specially commissioned Nickelodeon sound and light show on The Blackpool Tower that will be synchronised with LED wristbands.

Be a part of the magic and grab your FREE LED wristband from 6pm tomorrow, Friday 1 September, from a marquee located on the Tower Festival Headland and from the nearby Tourist Information Centre at Festival House. Some will also be given out along the parade route.

Delighted to announce Sophie Ellis-Bextor is this year’s Switch-On star, who will perform three live tracks and turn on the iconic Blackpool Illuminations on Friday 1 September!

The Switch-On moment on the evening of Friday 1 September, is part of a spectacular programme of free entertainment which will start with a colourful float parade, featuring the stars of Nickelodeon, one of the world’s favourite kid’s entertainment brands.
