Well today must be my lucky day because I’ve had not one but two amazing styled shoots land in my lap and they are both B E A U T I F U L 🤩 This one was with the fab just up the road from us in Ansdell. I can’t believe how well our blush pink tulle veil matched with the dress! It was obviously meant to be. 🥰

As a Bridal Sales Consultant/Stylist at our accessory boutique, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our brides looking for their perfect bridal veil, headpiece and accessories.

Your tasks will involve assisting customers, handling payments and making sure that the boutique is well displayed and cared for.

The boutique is open by appointment only so brides will book in with you for a one-to-one styling session.

Your main responsibility during each appointment will be to assist customers in finding their perfect wedding veil. You will help brides try the veils on, offer advice on matching the right veil to the dress, help find accompanying accessories and answer any questions about the company’s products, prices, stock availability and provide advice on the custom options we offer.

(Our in-house seamstresses will be available to offer any technical sewing advice on bespoke veil designs where applicable).

In between appointments you may be asked to respond to brides via email to extend our styling service virtually. You may also be asked to work on window displays and other merchandising tasks within the boutique.

We are looking to offer our styling service 2 days a week; one weekday plus a Saturday (6 hours + 6 hours). We’re currently offering this as a temporary 6-month contract from April to September, but if it proves popular with our brides we would continue it on a permanent basis.

Our Requirements.

The ideal candidate will be confident, friendly and chatty, have previous sales experience, good communication and customer service skills and an eye for style and detail.

Essential:
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Proficient IT skills
• Proficient level of numeracy and literacy

Desirable:
• Tailoring or Sewing skills
• Previous experience in a sales role
• Previous experience in the bridal industry

Please note that as the role often involves assisting brides in a state of undress, we can only accept applications from females. This role is exempt from the Equality Act due to reasons of decency.

Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 12 per week
Expected Start Date: 07/04/2021
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Salary: £6.56-£8.91 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers are required to wear a mask and we are asking for brides to bring no more than 1 extra person with them who must be from their bubble. Therefore there will be a maximum of 3 people (more often only 2) in the boutique during each appointment.
