Lovely to have in store to have their blades mounted, sharpened as well as having their boots custom moulded to ensure maximum comfort on the ice.

We were visited by a young lady who was struggling with her helmet- we suggested a hairstyle revamp! Unfortunately Dad was not a hair expert but the girls at Deeside know how to throw out a plait or 2! We then fitted her up for a shiny new pink lid 😍

A busy weekend for us at Deeside.

We fitted Paul up for a new goalie set up including some X5pro pads, a Hyper2lite chest, and some Konekt skates.

Paul got straight on a session We’re pleased to report he loves his new ice cream scoop catcher 😆

We’ve known Paul since his junior days, and, after a break due to Covid it’s brilliant to see him back on the ice; because we know from little acorns mighty oak trees do grow!!

Huge congratulations to our winners from our Al’s X Bauer event.

Alfie and Jarrod each won £100 voucher for winning their category which they spent on Hyperlite Skates and Mach Gloves 🤩

The importance of skate guards:

Saturday we were visited by a young skater who had, had a very frustrating lesson, as she had struggled to perform her usual moves.

She thought she was just due a sharpen but then said she couldn’t manage any of her jumps either.

We inspected her boots and discovered that she had actually damaged her toe pick likely on detritus or a surface rink side.

Sadly even with minimal wear rink side this can happen when your blades are not in the safety of a pair of guards.

Your edges are precious and worth protecting!
