In order to achieve a clean blonde while also maintaining hair integrity and health there’s a couple of things you should know:

👉🏻It takes TIME! Allowing time for the hair to rest and recover between lightening sessions means you are more likely to retain hair health! So have some patience and I promise it’ll pay off! This transformation took from November through to April.

👉🏻You will be a warm/caramel tone BEFORE you’re blonde! It’s inevitable - you can’t reinvent the colour wheel, so expect that throughout this process you will be a few different shades of brown, caramel, dark blonde along the way!

It’s the first Christmas in 20 years that I haven’t had that hectic Christmas rush. I’ve definitely missed the buzz of salon life, working 9-8pm every day and all the other Christmas traditions that came with having a salon and staff. But working part time has meant I’ve been able to spend time with my family. Being able to do Christmassy things with my little boy and watch him get excited has made it all worth it. This time of year is something I always missed out on when the girls were little.

Time is so precious, you blink and their 17 😄
