8760 hours, 525,600 minutes, 31,536,000 seconds, or just 1 whole year in the blink of an eye. The hardest year we have had to face as a family and one where the pain hasn’t got any better, but one where we have taken Oscar’s approach to life and tried our hardest to apply it to our own. A year full of tears, anger and uncertainty as to how we can move forward. Oscar lit up any room he walked in to and always brightened it up. So this Friday, to mark the 1 year anniversary of Oscar gaining his wings and becoming free from that horrible disease, we are asking are asking you all to join us in wearing the brightest colours you can as a testament to everything Oscar was. We want pictures, tags and as many of you to share the day with us. It will be hard, it will undoubtably be full of tears!But it also has to be full of happy memories, laughter and above all else Hope. As always the support we have had over the last few years has been something we will never be able get our heads around. So all we can say is thank you for being there for us, for Oscar and as we move on to the next chapter in our life, for supporting Oscar’s legacy.

Evening Lovely Pumpkin Growers, guess what??? … IT’S PUMPKIN PLANTING TIME!!!!! 🤩 .. here’s our first advice post from Grandad Steve! ……
“Hello you lovely lot, I am certainly no expert, but using these methods I’ve managed to grow some healthy happy pumpkins with my Grandsons 😍 Pumpkins are easy and fun to grow – just give them a warm sunny site, plenty of water and shelter from cold winds and they will thrive.
So planting the seeds is simple, Around mid-April, select a pot around 100mm (4”) in diameter, fill with compost and plant the seed on its side in the centre of the pot. Cover the seed with about ½ inch of compost and water gently, see the stages in the photo!
Place the pot on a sunny windowsill and leave them to germinate…. Couldn’t be simpler!!!
Make sure it doesn’t dry out, but be careful not to drown it.
Depending on the temperature, you should seed the seed pop up after a few days..
Keep the seedling nice and warm and watered ready to plant out when it’s stronger and has developed its true leaves, don’t worry about that for now will do another outdoor planting post soon!
