If you're having a sort out, why not book yourself a table? Or come along to pick yourself up a bargain or two!
We had a very special visitor to Nanstallon Pre-School today. Former pupil, Morgan Bolding, a member of team GB who won gold in Paris last month, very kindly spent time chatting with the children and staff about his journey to being an Olympic champion. We all enjoyed having a hold of his gold medal (which was surprisingly heavy) and pretending we were Olympians!
He’s a truly inspirational man and we’re so grateful he spent so much time with us.
Thank you to everyone who is supporting us for free on . Your continued support means the world to us!

Don't forget we have a Bag 2 School collection on Wednesday 3rd July!
Bag 2 School are the UK’s leading textile recycler and fundraiser, we raised £116 when they collected last time!
As well as raising vitally needed funds for Pre-School, it also helps the environment by helping to divert unwanted textiles away from landfill.
By getting involved in our Bag 2 School collection, you have an opportunity to sort through your cupboards and wardrobes and donate unwanted textiles in the bag provided – this can include adults’ and children’s clothes, shoes (tied together please), hats, belts, handbags and soft toys, (please refer to https://bag2school.com for full details). In addition to raising much needed funds it will also raise awareness amongst the children of the benefits of recycling and reuse.
You can use any other bag to donate your items and don’t forget to ask grandparents, friends and neighbours to have a sort out as well!
Bag 2 School will be collecting from Pre-School on Wednesday 3rd July 2024. Please bring your bag (or bags!) to Pre-School reception and help us have a really good collection.
Many thanks indeed for helping us with this unique fundraising opportunity.

Screech Owl Sanctuary visit
Hannah the Barn Owl, Wheatley the Tawny Owl and Stinky Pete the Polecat came to visit us this week.
Kay from the Owl Sanctuary talked to the children about each animal in turn and gave everyone the opportunity to touch and look at them up close.
They learnt that the Tawny Owl is the only owl that makes the Twit Twoo sound, that the Barn Owl has big wings that are very silent and the Polecat doesn't have very good eyesight but because they are so smelly they find their way around tunnels because of the smelly tracks they leave.
We've attached the photos for everyone to see and we have attached some videos that we have found on the RSPB website we thought you might like to watch at home.

It was such a special treat to meet the animals and we do hope to invite them in again in the future. You could visit the Owl Sanctuary if you wanted to as they are not too far away.
