Richard and Maureen have worked so incredibly hard over the last twenty years to make the company what it is today - it’s been their fourth child, and has caused immeasurable stress and joy in equal measures.

This is a charity based in Bognor, who are looking for help to support families in need this Christmas.

Our shiny new SafeContractor certificate landed on our doorstep this week.

If you want to employ a reliable, health and safety focussed contractor on your project - SafeContractor membership is a good indication for you.

SafeContractor check all of the contractors health and safety paperwork, insurances etc. Ensuring that we comply with the standards they set.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there.

RJB are currently in the process of upgrading our website, social media pages and our logo.

Whilst some of this is a work in progress, we are now ready to share our new logo with you.

We LOVE to see people enjoying the buildings we construct or renovate. But the beach huts hold a special spot in our hearts. Built by us, in our home town, on the beach where we’ve spent many a day as children playing and now as adults watching our children and grandchildren playing too. Nothing better than other people experiencing some of that seaside town magic. There’s no place like home. 🌊 🥂 ☀️ ⛱ 🌅

We’ve been working hard down at The Apuldram Centre - if you are in the area please get down there and support the wonderful centre. We can highly recommend the food from the cafe, as well as the chutneys (we’re not being biased, they’re delicious we promise!)

And keep your eyes 👀 peeled for the opening of this beautiful outdoor area. We can’t wait to visit as guests!

A lorry managed to strike this archway in Summersdale. RJB were asked to reconstruct it for the client.

We created a timber former in the shape of the archway and was used to support the bricks as we laid them.

The end result? Good as new.

Thank you to for the scaffolding.

We have just completed and handed over this wonderful project for The Apuldram Centre.

We demolished the existing building and constructed a new shop and hall for the Centre.

The shop is currently closed due to Covid Regulations, but we can highly recommend the preserves that they stock (which are made on site) . Delicious food whilst supporting an amazing local charity.

We refurbished two buildings to create a bespoke educational facility for one of clients back in 2018.

It's the weekend!

This is a Flashback Friday from us...

Some work we undertook for a private school based in
Hampshire. Works included the demolition of the
existing building, and construction of new building for
the music block. 🎼🎹🎸🎻🎺

It's Wednesday - downhill to the weekend from here.

Another project that we completed over the summer holidays. Swipe for the transformation of this classroom for a local school! ➡️➡️

We shared a sneak peek of this project earlier in the week. We worked alongside Axis Architecture Ltd. to construct this new-build home for a private client. Thanks to the design team at Axis, and our RJB operatives, this is the end result. We think this home is absolutely stunning (even if we do say so ourselves!) 🛠🏡

A little sneak peek of one of our completed projects...

As the summer holidays draw to a close, so do some of our contracts. Over the holidays the RJB team worked in 5 schools across West Sussex completing various works for them (alongside our other contracts).

One of the schools, based near Horsham, had a front reception and medical room refurbishment pictured below. Included in the photo is a bespoke desk that was made for the school by our experienced joiners. We received the email below from the school yesterday...

"I would just like to thank yourself and your team...for the fantastic works to the medical room and new reception. The bespoke desk and lighting are superb - a great job all round!!"

We like happy customers! 🛠👍

Followers local to Bognor may recognise this building!

We were fortunate to be appointed the Main Contractor on this project at Bognor Regis Baptist Church, in Victoria Drive.

We extended the existing building to form a new youth church break out room downstairs, and a meeting room upstairs. You can see from the photos the end result is stunning!

As lockdown restrictions began to ease, the playhouse we donated to Stepping Stones Day Nursery, Bognor Regis was delivered and erected (after a short delay due to the world turning upside down).

We received a beautiful thank you card from the children and staff, and have heard that the children are having lots of fun playing in the ‘Ice Cream Parlour’. 🍦 👶 🧒 ☀️
