Bognor Regis and Chichester fundraising Group for Guide Dogs

We have been licensed to sell raw milk since 1982, it’s fresh milk produced from our 120 Holstein cows in the heart of West Sussex. A great healthy product with 0 food miles with nothing added or taken away.🥛 🐮

Next Sunday we can be found at Puppy Love in West Park. I know it's early but our beautiful Christmas cards and quality wrapping paper will be available for those of you that like Tobe ahead of the game.

Please have a rummage down the back of your sofas and drawers. We recently collected £11 worth of old £1 coins, from a collection box. They really do make a difference.

Collection boxes can be found at Cassino Amusements on the Sea Front and the High Street, Jordon's Butcher's in Rose Green, Perfect Arrangement the florist in the High Street, Royals Fish and Chips in North Bersted, and Sussex County Dog Training in Aldingbourne. Heard there was a stand at our local Sainsbury's (thanks Kim) and popped in to say hello 😀

Our Chichester hospital is currently caring for another stray dog.

The dog is a microchipped so we do have details, however we are unable to get any response from his registered owner.

He is a black, male dog. Registered as a Cane Corso but could be a mixed breed. He was found in a field with a collar and a chain lead attached between Sidlesham and Hunston. He is underweight and has what appears to be an old fracture to his tail.

Anyone wishing to claim will need to advise us of the dogs registered name and also provide details of his microchip number.

He will shortly be transferred to the local authorities who will follow up his microchip.

All set up and already sold some bits 😊

Wednesday 2nd August at Bersted Green Hub, on the field. The local Community are getting together, family activities, community groups and charities will be there and we've been asked to provide our tombola and trading stock.

Exciting news! We've secured a pitch at 'A drive through time' West Park, Bognor Regis. Hope to see you there on Sunday 9th July.

It looks like I have secured a venue for a monthly meet up in Bognor Regis. This will be on the last Friday of the month.
I am hoping to grow this into a general awareness group that will be open to anyone who would like to know about the services and resources that Guide Dogs (GD) can provide.
Guest speakers will be invited to talk about their particular area of expertise. Nicky from My Sighted Guide (MSG), a local Guide Dog Owner (GDO) or two, and our lovely local Puppy Development Advisor (GDO) who looks after local puppy raisers, fosterers and boarders.
Tea and coffee will be provided. Venue address will be added once confirmed.
I'm really looking forward to building a community to support our local people with visual impairment to lead their best lives.

It's not just about the dogs!

Duke went to Iceland and collected a few cakes for tomorrow. He even got given a packet of dogs treats to share with his friends at the 'cuppa and cake" meet up at The Bersted Green Community Hub.
