How is it already the final day of Bolton Food & Drink Festival?! The past two days have flown!

We'll be here until 6pm if you want to come down. There's so much going on around the town, just check out the Bolton Food and Drink Festival page for stage line-ups, free activities, celebrity chef demos and all the other excitement happening around us.

We are home from another busy day at Bolton Food and Drink Festival !! Today was a little quieter than yesterday but given the weather forecast that was to be expected.

Luckily tomorrow is set to be much milder and as the final day of the festival, we hope to finish on a high!

We will be open 10am - 6pm for one last day and still have plenty of stock left. (I *may* have overpacked)

Wow! It is now 11:30pm and this is the first chance I have had to put together a quick Facebook post.

Firstly I want to say how grateful I am to each and every one of you that visited my festival stall today. We did a 15 hour shift & have barely had 30 secods between customers all day! The stall should have closed at 6pm, and we were still serving at 8:30pm! Absolute madness.

I'll be honest. After losing a days trade yesterday, my festival spirit had well and truly vanished, and I was very apprehensive about trading today, but it has been wonderful, so thank-you!

We will be back from 10am tomorrow morning, with all items fully topped up for another (hopefully!!) busy day 🤞🏻🤞🏻

🚨✨ BOLTON️ FOOD FEST UPDATE ✨️🚨

We ARE open tomorrow!! 🥳

Thanks to the festival staff, traders, and the public pulling together and working tirelessly all day (and night) cleaning up and repairing or replacing damaged infrastructure, the festival organizers have officially confirmed that Bolton Food and Drink Festival will be open as normal from tomorrow!

We'll be there from 10am onwards Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday!

Please do come and support the traders here if you can, it has been a VERY stressful day or two for everyone involved, and seeing as many people there as possible would hopefully make that all worth it 🤞🏻❤️

🚨 BOLTON FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL UPDATE - POSTPONED TODAY 🚨

Unfortunately we have just heard from event organisers that the festival WILL NOT be going ahead today (as it stands it will start tomorrow at 10am, but if this changes we will let you know)

We have bought more stock than ever before and are absolutely gutted that we cannot trade today 😢

However, this morning we have first hand seen the damage and distruction caused by the storm and know just how hard the whole festival team are working to get the event back up and running in time for tomorrow. The safety of both the traders, staff and visitors is more important than anything else, so whilst we are devastated to be unable to open today, we know doing so would be putting everyone at risk.

FESTIVAL UPDATE 📢

Due to Storm Lilian expected tomorrow morning, Bolton Food and Drink Festival will be opening at a later time of 2pm (Fri 23/8/24).

PLEASE READ📣

Due to the Met Office weather warning for tomorrow morning (Friday), with Storm Lillan forecast to bring strong winds to much of the Northwest, we will be delaying the public opening of the festival until 2pm on Friday August 23.

As ever, our top priority remains the safety and well being of everyone involved with the festival and those attending.

Any further updates will be provided here.

However, following the advice of the Met Office, there is no further disruption expected during the festival.

We are beyond excited & nervous for this weekend. It's truly insane how much prep goes on in the background of an event like this.
