Gentle reminder. We are happy for you to come and share our home and our pool but I have a couple of basic house rules.
This is a farm, there are mice out there and we want them to stay out there.
Do not to eat anywhere in the pool room. Not crisps, fruit, cake, no sweets or bananas. Just no food!

By bringing food in to the pool, you are inviting mice in. No one wants to share the pool with dropped crumbs, banana skins and mice.

We are happy for you to munch on anything you want in the garden.

Yes, we are open!
A gorgeous snowy morning here at Castledyke pool.

I have been out for a run which is something I could not do earlier this week due to the icy conditions first thing.
Our road, Castledyke bank, is slushy but okay.

Please drive carefully as I’m sure you would anyway.

This little bridge(in the photo) between Gipsey bridge and Antons Gowt is always tricky if it is cold, it becomes quite icy, but even that felt okay underfoot this morning.
If you ever come to the pool when it is icy conditions please be aware of this little bridge.
As for today the road just feels slushy.

We are open and we look forward to seeing you later.
