Richard is a former Modern Languages teacher based in Boston, Lincolnshire UK who has been organising quiz clubs and tournaments for over 50 years.

Richard’s latest publication is The FAMOUS NAMES QUIZ BOOK, with 20 varied and interesting questions on over 200 famous figures, ranging from Abba to Mark Zuckerberg, from Jack the Ripper to Michelangelo and from the Kardashians to William Wordsworth.

I hope that, like my first quiz book, QUIZ OF THE WORLD, it will prove to be both educational and entertaining.

The latest release from Robert KINSELLA “Life in a Northern Town” is a whimsical collection of fanciful stories of my life's experiences between 1960 and 1977.

Like most of the stories in this book, they have a dubious
connection to the truth; but have been influenced by the people I
have loved and lost over the years, although in many cases; their
names have been changed, to protect the innocent as they say.

Writing these stories has prompted me to take advantage of the
wonderful Yorkshire dialect, and share memories of my home
town of Rotherham; as I share in the concerns that are being
raised over the future of our unique way of expressing ourselves.

Research says our traditional way of speaking is being
watered down and may eventually die out... Let's hope not!

What is a Boston United FC 2024/25 PASSPORT?

Boston United Supporters Association produce 500 of these brilliant Passports and give them away FREE of charge to all junior supporters of Boston United FC and to members of the Boston United Football Academy, Boston United Community Football Club and Boston United Community Foundation to collect information on each game throughout the season, collect autographs, place selfies in the passports ....then hand them in at the end of the season to try and win a replica BUFC shirt!
