🚪 Are all the doors closed and the parking brake on?
🚗 Is your driving seat adjusted correctly?
🗣️ Is the head restraint in the correct position?
🪞 Are all mirrors clean and adjusted?
💺 Does everyone have their seatbelts on?
⚙️ Is the gear lever (gear stick) in neutral?

All road users should maintain the best visibility possible at all times. However, heavy good vehicles - or HGVs - can require extra attention. 🚛

Here are some top tips:

🚛 Allow plenty of room when overtaking a HGV and do not linger alongside them
🚛 Move out of areas of limited visibility as soon as it’s safe to do so
🚛 Never tailgate an HGV
