Last month Tim and I ran 100 miles for Young Lives Vs Cancer.

I have been so overwhelmed with love from clients this week- cards, chocolates, presents and so many thank yous.

It’s made me realise that what we do together really has the potential to change lives for the better 🥺

Feeling blessed and truly grateful for the amazing people I’ve met this year, to have worked with them and for their support during these uncertain times for small businesses like mine.

World Mental Health Day

Mental well-being is just as important as physical well-being over here.

That’s why sometimes clients and I talk more than exercise, cry together, laugh together, send each other motivational text messages.

I’m so grateful to have such a lovely group of strong women who inspire me. I’m even more grateful that we support each other and build one another up every single day.

I did some maths today…

In the past just over year and a half I’ve had the pleasure to help over 60 (63 😮) amazing women with their relationship with exercise

Whether that be through 1:1 training, group training or classes

3 lockdowns didn’t stop us 💪🏻

It’s been one hell of a journey, for both clients and myself in more ways than one

I’m feeling grateful for every single person I’ve met through this. Especially my longstanding clients who without a doubt inspire me every day 🤍 Thank you for being so fun, loyal and patient whilst I’ve been learning and growing too 🪴

Currently in the best place I’ve been in for a while food and training wise. Over the past month I’ve made some huge changes to my diet after being veggie for 5 years and I’ve been feeling better and stronger for it.

I’ve been stricter with my meal times, actually bringing lunch if I’ve not got a lunch break that day (would recommend 🤪) and training when I feel like I want to.

Sometimes it takes some experimenting and tweaking to figure out what works best for you in terms of diet and exercise. This changes as life happens, priorities change and new goals are set.

Fundamentally, it comes down to the why and the so.

Strong for what? Fit for what? Loose weight for what? Gain weight for what? And so what happens as a result?

Apart from the fundamentals, there’s no rule book.

I’ve been a bit quiet on social media recently. Truth is I’ve just needed a bit of a break from it.

The constant pressure to post something everyday as a small business is sometimes a bit much when you’re in charge of absolutely everything.

So this is a reminder to take some time to switch off, focus on yourself and what makes you happy. AND to prioritise and put things into perspective.

Despite the quietness, it’s been an amazing couple of weeks of goal smashing and cracking sessions.
