This is a post to say thank you to everyone who has supported us and who we have worked with over the past 7 years. On the 21st December we will be closing Arts2Educate due to starting a new adventure. We have had the best time working with so many schools in . We have worked with and have continually been supported by and . We feel so so lucky to have been successful in bringing art and music into so many children’s lives and it is a chapter that we will never forget but it is time to say goodbye.

Arts week at Heatherlands, looking at identity.
We had a fab time visiting yesterday, working with the Year 5’s on their identity project. The children printed out pictures of themselves and thought about things and activities that represented themselves. We then spent the day creating a mix-media art piece including collage, paint and pencil work.

We created birds, planes, kites and more with children from aged 4 - 10 . They all got on so well with everything looking so colourful 🖌️🎨

What a wonderful few days we had at Burton Primary School.
We worked with both the year 3’s and 4’s to paint this beautiful piece inspired by their school values! We love it and can’t wait to see it up in full display!

This week we have been at Longfleet Primary School working with 90 Year 5 students to paint this beautiful mural. We absolutely love the final outcome and feel so excited that it will be celebrated and displayed in their main reception.

We had a really special day last week at as we delivered a mindful art day for children at their holiday club. We had children from as young as 4 up to 10 and they all worked so beautifully and peacefully.

Last week we had the wonderful pleasure of talking with with for at the . We were chatting about all things songwriting in music education - the process, where we started, topics, and even played a little starter of a song!

Working with is one of our favourite things to do! We so believe in the power of storytelling and the messages you can share through them. Jessie does this so well with over 180 5-7 year olds gaining an understanding of how they can protect their planet and be little eco-hero’s!

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day and we spent the day delivering arts workshops based on the theme of ‘love’. We started by thinking about love for others and then moved onto thinking about the love for our planet. The children created so many beautiful pictures throughout the day!

Last week we visited Winchelsea School and delivered three of our plastic ocean workshops. The young people we worked with were so passionate about creating change. The conversations sparked throughout the day were wonderful, with lots of proud smiles as we celebrated their gorgeous work at the end of the day.

Egyptian Workshop
We had a wonderful day at Avonwood Primary yesterday delivering our Egyptian workshop to the Year 3 classes. We started off with a drama experience where the children acted like the archaeologists who found Tutankhamun's tomb. The children then worked in pairs to create a section of this beautiful painting.

We have created a new workshops for KS2 classes to experience. The workshop will begin with a range of drama activities where children will create moving images to represent the excavation of Tutankhamun's tomb. They will then paint a small part of a bigger class painting which will all be put together at the end of the session. Let's get creative in 2023!

Arts2Educate Educational workshops for Primary children. Enabling all children to succeed.

Yesterday we visited Jewell Academy and delivered an art, music and drama workshop based on their topic The Mayans. We began by taking the children through an immersive drama experience where they helped to act out the Mayan creation story, they then wrote an amazing song based on this story and finished off by making these gorgeous masks. We loved our day and can't wait to visit again!
