For those that don't know, we're inside Bournemouth's original underground dance music venue since the 80's!

Cabaret Club, Kevins House, Remix, Paradise, The Blue Balloon, Club XTreme, Madisons 2 The XTreme, Alcatraz, Empire Club, Orange Rooms, The Bunker, Poison Apple, Bomo Cafe Bar, Bomo Bunker, Buffalo, Bomo Bar, Bear Cave... Many names have appeared above the door and countless people have partied inside!

'Remixed' takes you back in time to when it was 'Remix'. One of the most unforgettable moments in dance music history at 24-26 Holdenhurst Road. Each and every week, the biggest and best names from all corners of the dance music spectrum rocked the club, giving ravers (from not just the local area but also miles away) some of the most amazing nights out of their lives.

Regular sets from the likes of Carl Cox, Mr C, Fabio, Grooverider, Top Buzz, Ellis Dee, Slipmatt, Micky Finn, the list is endless.

If you've been to any of our previous events we don't need to sell it to you. You know what to expect! For those that haven't been, now you have the chance to party like back in the day. We bring back the vibe and show you how it used to go down!

Nookie / Cloud Nine are names known the world over for releases on Moving Shadow, Reinforced, Good Looking Records, Metalheadz and many more.

Undoubtedly one of the leading lights in the Drum & Bass scene, Nookie, aka Cloud Nine / Second Vision / New Balance / Binary State / Gavin Cheung, originally went by the production name of 'Main Attraction' providing Hip Hop remixes for ragga artists Ninjaman and Cutty Ranks back in 1990.

One of the most prolific and versatile producers of the 90s, his seminal hardcore / jungle crossover 'Gonna Be Alright' / 'The Sound Of Music' from 1992 is a track that continues to regenerate with every generation. One of the biggest and most unforgettable tracks of that era!

Classic early Nookie / Cloud Nine hardcore / jungle anthems such as 'Give a Little Love', 'Love is the Message', 'Shining in Da Darkness', 'Drummer of Doom', and 'Only You', to name but a few, are still loved to this day and continually played by the biggest names in the scene.

The word 'legend' gets thrown around a fair bit, but Nookie is someone that well and truly deserves the title. It's an absolute pleasure to have him appear at Remixed!

Really can't believe what I'm hearing. Jason Kaye. An absolute legend and undoubtedly one of the best DJ's to ever grace the decks at Remixed as part of Top Buzz. I started listening to him back in 1990 when tapes of his sets were doing the rounds, then as the years went on was lucky enough to see him DJ in person countless times - by himself and as Top Buzz. After he played at Remixed I spoke to him on the phone and he said he couldn't believe how good my tracks were - he was playing a couple of my records in the background - and insisted we get in the studio together and produce some old skool. Life kinda got in the way and it still hadn't happened. I've had more downs than ups. I just thought it would happen eventually... An opportunity missed but I'll never forget what a seriously top geezer he was, smiling, laughing and always playing the best music. A huge inspiration to so many. Honestly, I'm gutted. Rest in paradise Jason...
