π Summer Showcase Meal Event π
Our talented team of trainees and staff put on another fabulous Showcase Meal Event for guests .Projectβs training centre. This eventβs theme was βCooking by Fireβ with guests enjoying a fabulous selection of barbeque foods, sumptuous salads, and delicious desserts. π₯ππ₯π°
Each Showcase Meal event has a different theme, with menus designed and tested by our trainees and staff. We have great fun experimenting with different recipes and cookery techniques for our guests to enjoy. These experiences really help to showcase what adults with disabilities, neurodivergences, or mental health conditions can do with the training and support they receive from .Project. π
The βCooking by Fireβ theme afforded 3 of our Food Production & Service trainees with the opportunity to develop a new skill in a different type of cooking which was well received by guests at the event. π
A special shoutout to our training kitchen Professional Trainer, Jane, along with our training bakery Professional Trainer, Helen, for their culinary talents and skills in helping our trainees create and serve a varied menu. π©βπ³π©βπ³

We have been connected with Hays UK recruitment and workforce solutions through the Neighbourly platform where businesses help good causes. A great team of volunteers including Martin, Lauren, Micala, Giles and Ellie from Hays UK in Bournemouth recently spent the day volunteering at our training centre helping with our redecoration project.
Volunteering is a hugely valuable and rewarding experience for those who want to get involved with a charity. The team from Hays UK have not only made a difference to the look and feel of our charity's training centre but have also invested in the local community and demonstrated their organisation's social responsibility values.
We look forward to working with the team at Hays UK in the future and welcoming them to one of our upcoming Showcase Meal events.
With sincere thanks from The Crumbs Project

Our Story
Welcome to The Crumbs Project. We are non-profit organisation that works with adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues and stabilised addictions. Through a mix of practical skills learning and work experience we provide our trainees with the opportunity to build their confidence, learn new skills and lead a life of independence.
At Crumbs our trainees have the opportunity to develop skills in catering, hospitality, administration and housekeeping. Trainees usually undertake a two year training programme and then are supported into either paid or voluntary work placements.
To enable Crumbs to carry out the important work we do with vulnerable individuals we offer a variety of catering services across Dorset. Our team provides a range of hot and cold food services, as well as celebration cakes- ideal for business meetings, training, conferences, weddings, parties or other events.
All our food is freshly prepared, cost effective, and well presented. We are able to cater for any dietary requirements and available weekdays, weekends and evenings. It's really easy to order and a free delivery service is also available locally.
For further information about our training and food services please contact the Crumbs team on 01202 519320 or email [email protected]
