Meet some of our Sunshine, Rainbow and Harbour teams! As the year comes towards the end, we thought you might like to meet some of our staff who work incredibly hard in our nurture and high needs areas in school. You might not always see this crew on the gate or hear about them from your children but they have been really busy this year setting up our newer spaces and making sure that every child has an opportunity to achieve and learn in a wonderfully caring, safe environment. Thank you, team!

Well , what a fabulous night we had at the Year 6 show last night!Taylor Swift and Shakespeare, Wonka and some weird and wonderful cooking, shaking it with Shakira, booing the evil KEN ( Knows Everything Needed), a smattering of familiar teachers, Mr Brown, some politicians and our very own 'boy' dance band! Throw in a few classic songs, some hard work practising and we all had a wonderful time. Well done, Year 6!

Come on down to the Summer Fayre! Sun's out and we are open till 2pm! Bouncy castle, BBQ, stalls, crafts, dancing, singing, face painting and lots more fun! See you there :)

We've had a lovely day performing at Hurstpierpoint and are well on the way home with another trophy! We should be back around 7.30

What a transformation! A huge thank you to our wonderful Parent Staff Association for funding our back playground makeover, comprising of a race track, traversing wall and area for our reflex board. The next phase will see covered areas for all weather use for all our children at playtimes, PE lessons and enhanced provision for Early years.

It’s back! By popular demand, we will be doing wake-up Wednesday until the end of the year. Miss Lunn will be leading us on the playground from 8.15am. Bring your dancing feet and we’ll see you in the morning!

…out of 71,000 entrants for the ‘so you think you’re an engineer’ competition, St. James’ has produced winning designs.
Congratulations to Roly,Sol, India, Sachin, Lily and George for your stunning ideas which were just brilliant.
Lily’s design of a prosthetic finger to communicate to sight impaired people was chosen as the overall winner from the whole of the south of England! We are so proud of you.
Emily won last year and a team of engineers from Southampton University researched and built a prototype of her ‘seed dispersal drone’, this is just amazing, well done Emily.
Our children are making a difference in the world, with the most wonderful, thoughtful and empathetic ideas to make God’s world a better place.
We are so proud of our young engineers ❤️

St. James’ seems to be getting a reputation as an engineering school. Our children are amazing. Over 71,000 entrants and…

Ladies and gentleman…our Town champions who are going on to represent Bournemouth in the county championships. We have both the year 6 sprint champions, the girls’ relay champions and Year 5 high jump champion!
You are all brilliant, well done 👏

A reminder that school is closed for children tomorrow (Monday 3rd June), as we have a staff Inset day.
We are looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday morning for an upcoming summer of sport and celebration.
