Lovely morning with Coda Fiddle orchestra playing in Boscombe Sovereign Centre

Members of the Evening Club have awarded a Music Scholarship to Lemon Chong (7) of the Coda Fiddle Orchestra. The scholarship will provide Lemon, who is a beneficiary of the orchestra and is showing above average ability for her age (Grade 3), with one-to-one tuition for a year. She entertained the members by playing 'Somewhere over the Rainbow

Our new orchestra leader, Sungmin Cho, aged 16, performing the last movement of the Bach A minor violin concerto. She has recently performed the Bruch Violin Concerto with the Bournemouth Philharmonic Orchestra. This was the 2nd concert in our new residency at St Peters Church, to whom we are indebted for the use of their building. CFO is Bournemouth's own Sistema project where no child is turned away due to inability to pay, and is kindly supported by Soundstorm, Bournemouth Rotary, Thornton Trust and many other funders

Eric He performs the Telemann Viola Concerto. Eric is a rising star. He has managed to adopt the viola in a very short time. It is very different from playing the fiddle. Well done Eric Well done Congratulations! !!
