Boscombe Youth Fiddle Orchestra
BYFO meets in Boscombe. Violinists aged 5 to 19 perform folk ,film and classics. It is funded by Bournemouth Rotary, John Thornton Foundation and Soundstorm.
The music director is Fiona McKinley, former violin tutor with the National Childrens Orchestra President Maurice Patterson MBE

The New Year starts with a new name and a new partnership with Dorset Children's Foundation.
Coda has loved being part of this project and sends best wishes for the future of Boscombe Youth Fiddle Orchestra.

Our next concert is a particularly special one. It is being held to celebrate the life of our founder and President, Sam Newgarth MBE who sadly passed away earlier this year. The programme will include lots of Sam’s favourite music, as well as some of ours! Entrance will be free with a retiring collection for the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of Sam.
