The oldest car we have ever had in at FCD, this Panhard et Levassor is 120 years old! Constructed in wood and metal it was our job to clean "Lady Elizabeth" up and make her brass shine!

After a week of fettling she is now gleaming again! It doesn't matter if it is a super car or super old, we here at FCD are here to protect your pride and joy.

We are seeking a detailer to join our small team, based at our Christchurch studio.
Detailing experience is preferred, but not essential, however a passion for cars, being well presented with a hard working attitude is essential.

We are looking for an immediate start, offering competitive rates of pay, get in touch today.

Bently GT full Satin conversion in

Throwback to last summer installing a Satin PPF Conversion to this Ferrari SF90 Stradale.

When this car was brand new, we installed full body gloss PPF to the very expensive Rosso Fuoco paintwork, which is essential on a triple layer colour like this.

After a few months, the owner decided he wanted a bit of a refresh, and decided to remove the PPF from the car and make the change to a satin finish on this hybrid Ferrari supercar.

Thanks to the XPEL STEALTH PPF, the car has all of the same protection properties of the standard gloss film and it also retains the metallic fleck in the paintwork through the film, unlike a satin vinyl wrap.

Leaving all the Carbon fibre elements in gloss XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF, this car looks superb. At the clients request we installed small #24 racing style numbers to the lower side-skirts which matches nicely with another 488 Pista we regularly detail and #7 featured on this car.

Featuring front end XPEL PPF front end and side skirts with Gtechniq Crystal Serum and Exo.

Throwback to completing this Ferrari 812 GTS for a returning client of ours.
This particular car we installed Full Car Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film. The wheels were removed and coated with C5 Wheel Armour, we coated the film with HALO & finally the whole interior was protected with Fabric Guard.

Happy with the previous 4 cars we have done, this is now the 5th car we have PPF’d for this particular client and
We have since seen the car back after some good usage, and completed a maintenance wash on it and it is looking superb.

Defender 110 left us today after receiving Front End + Sideskirts as well as other high impact wear and tear area’s PPF’d with Ultimate Plus. The rest of the car had a single stage machine polish with a coat of EXO. The car is being put straight to work off road today, but it can now be used and enjoyed a bit more worry free... Thanks to our customer for the photos!

We carried out full Front End + sideskirts in Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film, with all edges where possible wrapped for a ‘invisible’ install. On this particular car we applied an extended sideskirt pattern which is particularly vulnerable to stone chipping, before double layering it with a smaller ‘OEM’ sized piece of film, for superb protection. The rest of the car received a New Car Prep and was coated in CS ULTRA +

This is the 3rd Model Y we have installed PPF on this week, and it certainly looks great in black.
