Our Story
Created just after the turn of the millennium, Bar So has been a cornerstone in Bournemouthโs bar and nightlife scene for over a decade. Located just a stoneโs throw from Bournemouthโs infamous stunning beaches, itโs easy to see why Bar So is as popular with tourists as it is with the locals. Over time, Bar So has won a whole host of awards including being 5 times winner of the decorated โBournemouthโs Best Night Outโ at the Best Bar None Travel and Tourism Awards.
This multi-levelled venue has it all. It boasts two large outdoor terraces perfect for soaking up the sun whilst enjoying your favourite tipple. There is an upstairs cocktail bar that serves food during the summer season and a downstairs bar that takes on a club-like vibe with its big dancefloor, funktion one sound system and has played host to some of the worlds leading DJโs. In this area there is also Bottle Service available on request. Bar Soโs Private Bar is perfect for any event, from corporate events to Birthday bashes to wedding receptions. Salsa classes are held each Wednesday and Slow Dating events each month.
