Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) is being activated today and will run for the next 3 consecutive nights.

BCPSOS (Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole Street Outreach Service - St Mungo's Outreach Team) will be doing extra outreach shifts throughout SWEP, finding anyone who is sleeping rough and encouraging them to take up the offer of emergency accommodation.

Our outstanding level 1 Catering students orchestrated and conducted a charitable lunch event for Michael House Boscombe last Friday.

Michael House has been dedicated to aiding the homeless since 1992. The students meticulously designed the menu, dedicated time to prepare and cook the dishes, and presented a variety of delectable baked goods for sale.
The event generated a fully booked restaurant and raised an impressive £407.00. For more info on our courses visit www.thecollege.co.uk

Foundation students have continued to raise a considerable amount of money for 'Wave 105 Cash for Kids' for the second year running.

This is a wonderful cause, for underprivileged children in the local area, and the money raised will ensure that children will now wake up to some presents under the Christmas tree!

We proudly handed the money to managers at Tesco in Fleetsbridge, and in addition to the cash, we also contributed some presents that had been donated by the wonderful staff at college.

Thank you to everyone who purchased our handmade goods and bought raffle tickets at the Christmas Fayre but most of all, thanks to our lovely students and staff who have worked so hard to support this cause!

We have our amazing music students setting up a live music gig in the Poole hub today. Come on on down to the hub (room 49) 12pm until 2pm
