We were pleased to recently take part in the delivery of an overhead charging system at Walshaw Street Depot in Oldham. 👏

🤝 Working alongside Janus Architecture, Magnus Construction, Stonewood Electrical, First Bus and Bee Network.
J B Langley carried out the structural design of an independent steel frame system which allowed charger reels, and the cables which feed them, to be located above the EV bus parking bays. This approach works within the confines of the existing depot structure and has the primary benefit of restricting disruption to bus operations and parking capacity.

Our Surveying Department has recently completed a Caledonian Modular Survey, easing our Clients concerns over the workmanship and construction of this system.

Similar to RAAC (which we also provide surveys for) this has certainly been a very hot topic of late.

We attended the LABC - Local Authority Building Control awards in London last month and we came away as national winners for ‘Best Residential Conversion or Alteration to an Existing Home’.

It was an all-round fantastic team effort, working alongside R Dawson Architect RIBA Ltd, Holme Building Contractors Ltd, Patchett Joinery & Yorkshire Energy Systems.🤝

Fantastic project for us to be involved in, working closely with Eric Wrights and Yorkshire Water. 🤝

We are really looking forward to seeing this one progress!
