Well that was a crazy lesson.
Didn’t expect to be asked to find a drum beat for my student to play along to the Fireman Sam Theme.

So this week I swapped my drum kit for a tech box on the side of a stage to control the music for Dance Factory Studio’s Show “Back To The 80’s”

Well done to all the kids (including my own 2 lunatics) and adults who took to the stage and all the adults who ran around backstage to make it happen.

It was an amazing 4 days and everyone was awesome.

Because of the snow and a BrSs Band contest yesterday I haven’t been into my studio since Tuesday night. Went in this morning to turn the heating on ready for a lesson and it was surprisingly warm in there.

An exciting couple of months ahead with teaching and playing.
Currently prepping for this years 24 hour show at the Bradford Playhouse in October then Oliver in November.
More projects in the planning stage with news on those as they get confirmed.

Just agreed to play kit/percussion for a run of Les Miserables next week.

Cancer Support Yorkshire

Following the break up of the covers band I was in the Bass Player has decided to buy the PA off the remaining band members.
I have chosen to donate my share to Cancer Support Yorkshire, a charity that I try to support as much as I can.

For confirmation yesterday that we are providing the band for one of my favourite shows that I've never performed before.
