We have a position at Broomfield Private Day Nursery.

Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner required to work and complete level 3 apprenticeship in our busy nursery. We are open 5 days a week from 7.00am until 6.00pm, therefore you will need to be flexible. We have children from birth to 11years of age.

The position is to start now. We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team, be able to liaise with parents, and have experience of working with children . Must have sound knowledge of the EYFS and Safeguarding, including Prevent and FGM. You will also need to have experience of Health and Safety and be able to follow Policies and Procedures.

You will also be responsible for having key children and developing these children through observations, monitoring and planning.

We require you to be able to use your own initiative and be able to bring fresh ideas and create stimulating activities for our children to enable them to grow and develop.

Must have Level 2 in childcare.

Successful candidate will be required to provide 2 good references and have a clear DBS before they are able to start. DBS update service is desirable

Spinning Tops - Toddler Room (2-3 1/2 Years)
In order to stimulate the active minds of our toddlers, we offer indoor and outdoor play, which can be accessed throughout the day. Along with a careful selection of educational activities, our Toddlers are assisted in the process of Toilet Training, with the consent and cooperation of the parents.

Rag Dolls 2 - (18 Months-2 Years)
Much of our toddler's day is spent in free-play, with a wide variety of toys and activities provided to encourage language, social and imaginative skills. These include construction toys, a reading area, jigsaws, and areas for messy play. Also important is hygiene, and this is encouraged with the provision of toilet training and hand-washing routines, which become a normal part of a toddler's day.

Rag Dolls (Birth - 18 Months)
Our baby Room at Broomfield provides a safe and cosy haven. There is soft lighting and a cot area, where each baby can sleep, with their own personal sleepbag provided. We work closely with the Parent's home routine and each child is appointed their own Key Worker, to liaise with the parent and to deliver a Daily Progress Report. Parents can call at any time throughout the day to get an update on their child's welfare.
