I posted my ⬅️ before and ➡️after pictures over on my story, along with a poll, asking people what they thought the weight difference is.
7 people have chosen 1lb
6 people have chosen 4lb
8 people have chosen 8lb
1 person chose 12lb
The answer is 4lb. Only 4lb, yet my body composition has changed considerably.
🔸Why shouldn't you solely focus on the scale?🔸
Your weight can fluctuate around 5lb per day. But this weight gain ISN'T fat!
Salt intake, exercise, alcohol, hormones (yes ladies, your cycle makes a difference) and carbs, can all contribute to the scale fluctuations.
If you solely focus on the scale, you're more than likely going to be upset every now and then, when it shows higher than you're expecting. 🥴😔
Take those pictures and measurements, along with the scale (f**k the scale tho 🤭). Do you feel better in your clothes? Go with that too!
So guys, let's focus on being healthy, strong and happy! Be mindful with your eating, eat high protein, drink water, get adequate sleep and get those workouts done! 💪🏽🧡

A question I get often is... What exercise can I do to get rid of belly fat?
Answer - None
Diet is key with fat loss. Doing a million sit ups or any other abs exercises will not lose the belly fat unfortunately!
You have to be eating less calories than you're burning to lose fat. If you're not, no amount of exercise will help.
The amount of calories you burn during exercise varies from person to person. It's dependent on your own body composition, height, weight and intensity of your exercises. But, it's probably a lot less than you think.
Calorie burn for 30 mins weightlifting could be anywhere between 90 and 210 calories. How many calories were in that alcoholic drink you had? The cupcake you had? The takeaway you had? A hell of a lot more and it probably took you minutes to drink/eat!
Count those calories, aim for high protein, everything in moderation and prep as much as you can!
So guys, focus on that nutrition alongside your workouts and let's live a healthier, happier life in 2024 💪🏽🧡

Today is supposed to be blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year. It doesn't have to be though, does it?
Mine has been good and sad. I've had some lovely PT sessions, met up with a lovely friend who's going through a very sad time at the moment, but I also met this beaut of a dog. Who couldn't smile after a day like this so far?
Now I'm ready for my evening sessions with more amazing clients.

I restart Personal Training and classes on Tuesday 2nd January - Can't wait to get back into a routine and see my amazing clients 🧡
🚫 I don't have any spaces for 1-1 PT or my evening classes at the moment (obvs this could change!).
‼️I do have space in group PT at 7am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Group PT has a max of 4 ladies per session. These are based in my private gym in Clayton.
‼️My next online home workout group also starts between 2nd and 9th January.

When I decided I wanted to start my own business, i thought it would do ok and I'd be able to do it part time. I never ever imagined my little business going so well to the point where I'd be working full-time, with a waiting list for new clients 🫣🥴.
I wouldn't be where I am today without my clients, friends and family. So thank you 🧡🧡🧡 I appreciate every single one of you.

This Christmas I'm taking 2 weeks off - Closing 19th December - Reopening 2nd January. 🤶🏼🎄

We all have to start somewhere when it comes to exercise. Some start off walking, some try to run, some lift weights, some try pole or dance and some play sports...
It doesn't matter what you choose, you just need to get started. It's the hardest part!
You see that person in the gym who makes it look easy? Yeah it was probably difficult for them at some point too. But they show up and get the job done.
Life isn't a practice run, you only have one chance. Choose to improve your body and mind so you can enjoy every day and live life to the fullest - Celebrate what your body can do, don't punish it 🧡
When you're having a bad day mentally, try to do some exercise 💪
Lift some weights 🏋️, go for a walk 🚶♀️ or run 🏃, dance around the house 💃 - Do anything!
Exercise is just as beneficial for your mental health as it is your physical health 🧡
After my post the other day, I know it helped at least one beautiful lady to take her first step on her fitness journey...to help her mentally and physically. She's one strong lady to take that step, I for one am proud of you 🙌
