The BAE Systems factory in Blackburn manufactures essential components for the F-16 and F-35 fighter jets currently complicit in Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza. The F-35s in particular are stationed at RAF Lakenheath, the same location the US plans to site deadly B61-12 nuclear bombs in Britain. It is vital that the peace movement opposes the military-industrial complex at all parts of supply and deliverance. In this spirit, we encourage you to spread the word via your local peace, community and campaigning groups.

Bradford CND were at Menwith Hill today, in solidarity with peace camp organised by the Lakenheath Alliance for Peace. Lakenheath is currently preparing to receive US nuclear missiles without any discussion in Parliament or in local councils about their arrival which is in breach of international humanitarian law as well as the UN Treaty to Prohibit Nuclear Weapons.

Lakenheath Alliance for Peace to march against US nukes in Britain, establish peace camp at US airbase, 13-25 July - On Saturday 13 July, activists from the Lakenheath Alliance for Peace will begin a three-day walk/cycle from Norwich and establish an international peace camp at the US-controlled RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, from Monday 15 July until Thursday 25 July.
