'THE TRUTH WAS KNOWN MANY YEARS AGO

Johan Cruyff remembers the first time he set eyes on Pep Guardiola. The scrawny teenager was playing in Barcelona's youth team and Cruyff had just been appointed first-team manager at the club. 'He was a boy and the people said to me, "Oh, he's one of the best".

'So (over the next year) I looked for him in the reserves, but he didn't play in the reserves. So then I looked at the first youth team, and he didn't play in that team. And eventually I found him in the third youth team.

'So I said to the coaches, "You said he was the best one!" And they said, "Yeah, but physically…" I said, "Put him there (in the reserves). He will grow. Don't worry, everybody grows". And they said, "Yeah, but we will lose". I said, "If we lose, we lose. We need to create players". And he did very well.'

YIPEEEEEEEEEEEE! We are finally back. Fun based learning for your little ones at Nixon’s farm on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Our sessions are designed to help build confidence, agility, balance, speed, co ordination and technical ability whilst having loads of fun. Come down and join the fun and be amazed at what your little one can do.😍

Awsome first two days at Fooball At The Farm with some brilliant young footballers. The work they put in was terrific and the outcomes were very exciting. We go again tonight with sessions from 16:00 all the wat through to 20:15.😍

WE ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

After a month of no football we are back at the farm!!!!! Sessions this weekend are Saturday 5/12/2020

- 10am 3-5 year old (little legs) this session is fun based but packed with learning and excitement.

- 11:am 10-12 year old (ballers) if your game has been called off or your looking for extra sessions this may just be for you, but be prepared to graft and giggle.

All our sessions are rain, sleet and snow proof but that’s about it so parents please come wrapped up. Food and hot drinks are available to purchase with all Covid measures being followed.

We have a new timetable being published next week with sessions that cater for players from little legs to grass roots to pro level. So it you just want to have fun, want to progress, need to improve specific parts of your game or aspire to play at the highest level send us a pm and come and see what we can do for you.

Are you 18 and over and would like to go back to your team on December 2nd fitter, faster stronger, technically and mentally better. We have the solutions if you have the desire and commitment. Under COVID rules and guidelines we have private sessions available Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is for dedicated players only, who want to progress and definitely not for the faint hearted so be prepared to graft. Pm me for further details.

This young lady came to us very shy and quiet but with a willingness to learn. Ten months and two lock downs later, we have created a footballing monster. I can honestly say that I have seen very few players with her level of commitment and dedication and it’s really paying off. She’s now fitter, faster, stronger, more confident, aggressive and a technical genius. This young lady is an absolute dream to work with and now has an opportunity to really push on by being invited to train with the young ladies at Manchester United. Well done Beth, take this chance and own it like we know you can. 💙

Like everyone else we are in lock down until December 2nd. As soon as we are back and able to train a timetable will be put out. We know there are loads of coaching companies out there all doing their own thing but we are very very different and our results on the players says everything. From Pros and scholars to academy and grass roots we can build a plan for you. By design you will become fitter, faster, stronger, technically, tactically, socially and physically better with loads more confidence. Hard graft, loads of fun and some new things for you to try. We have sent players back to their pro clubs with amazing improvement and even had calls from their coaches asking how we have made such a difference. We have worked with grass roots players and they have gone back to their clubs and smashed it, with a number of them now being picked up by pro clubs. We promise to give you 110% every second your with us training, however we demand the same from you. We understand that every player develops at a different pace, which is why you will never train in a group of more than six players at any time. Our facility’s are bespoke which helps us deliver excellence but not at the crazy prices charged to customers like other places. Wow wow wow Tuesdays sessions at Football At The Farm we’re crazy!!! Technical excellence from our u8s and u14s groups who then put it into their small sided games. Plenty of self expression, amazing goals and electric defending. Competitive, exciting football at its true best with loads of learning and big smiles. 💙

These players put in a real shift and had loads of fun. Huge thanks to Madjio, Taylor, Jacob and Harley, you were outstanding and as always a real pleasure to work with. Also to Matthew and Nate for all their hard work on the earlier session.
A special mention has to go to Matty who was an absolute super star in the first session of the day and really set the tone.

Wednesday night is girls night. Come and further develop your your footballing ability and knowledge in a fun and relaxed environment. You will be tested and challenged but in a fantastic environment where smiles come as a guarantee. See the timetable for further details.

Outstanding work last night by our U8’s and U16s groups. Both sessions were really intense and crazy fun with the players leaving with a big smile. The improvements and understanding were clear to see and the effort but in by all the players was simply breath taking. Well done all and see you next week.
