Opa - meaning Grandpa. This cushion was made using clothing from a very special Opa. It’s part of a collection and I can’t wait to show you the full set of keepsakes but this beautiful patchwork cushion definitely needed a post all on its own! I love the contrast colours and prints that compliment each other perfectly.

• M A X •

Did your baby have a comforter?
Max did and it’s made the perfect accessory on his memory bear. I altered the blanket part to make it the perfect size for his teddy. There’s also so many of his adorable first outfits.
You too can include anything you like for your keepsake, it really is your teddy, your story.

When I first meet people who’d like me to make a keepsake for them, my favourite thing is to hear the stories behind the clothing they bring.
I had such a lovely time hearing all about this adored Grandma. Her granddaughter spoke so fondly about the times they spent baking together. There were so many beautiful details that went into this .
The embroidered quote on the foot was taken from the funeral, I made a smaller version of the apron and there was a rose print fabric included too which meant so much to the family. There’s also the beautiful Grandma tag with the little cupcake on.
We tried to get as many details into their keepsake as we could and I’m so happy with the finished bunny.

I can’t believe the final month of the year is nearly here.
I don’t know about you, but whenever anyone asks me what’s new? I always say, nothing really, same old. It’s such a bad habit because actually everything changes, slowly and gradually, it creeps upon us quietly and it’s only when we look back do we notice how much our lives have grown.

Ella’s keepsake bunny has been created using a slightly different clothing combination to what I usually work with. It wasn’t tiny baby or adult clothing, it was a lovely mix of older girl clothing and a school summer dress. This is the first time I’ve used clothing and uniform together and I think it works beautifully. What do you think?

Did you know it’s not only adult and children’s clothing I can work with?
I’ve also made quite a few keepsakes using pet blankets and their soft toys because sometimes those who we love so deeply aren’t always human. 🐾

I love the colourful, playful prints that have gone into Zachary’s bear.
There are some really cool shirts and an adorable set of pyjamas but the most important piece was the ‘Zachosaurus’ babygrow which fitted perfectly along the back of his bear.

Hello, hello! I haven’t posted since September but I’ve made so many lovely keepsakes in the past few weeks.
One of the things I struggle with most are the captions to go with my photos. I often spend days wondering what to write, trying to make it sound different and engaging from the last post but maybe I should just post the damn thing!
So here’s it is, a pretty photo of some perfect embroidery that recently went on a bear I made.

She’s such a pretty bunny! 🐰🤍 I love the tutu which is removable so they can decide which look they prefer.
Her keepsake is her first birthday present. I think it’s the perfect gift to celebrate the first year but I know I’m biased! 😉

This isn’t the first of my teddies the family have had, a few years ago I made one for her brother too! It’s always lovely when customers return, it’s so nice to hear how your family’s are growing and asking me to create something to remember their first years will always be an honour.

Having made his brother’s teddy a few years ago, it was lovely when his Mum asked me to make another keepsake for the family, this time for Otis.
I loved creating this bear to celebrate his 1st birthday! It has beautiful embroidery, perfectly stitched are his name, date of birth and birth weight. The perfect gift to celebrate his first chapter. 🎈

I love a little pocket! I always like to add them to the keepsakes as I think they really convey how small those first baby clothes were. They grow so fast and postpartum is such a whirlwind that I think all Mum’s look back at those first outfits and reminisce about how our little bundles of joy ever fit into something so tiny.
