I saw Shirley Valentine in London yesterday with my daughter and granddaughter.

Sheridan Smith is brilliant!
She's on stage the whole time as it's a one woman show and it moves along very dynamically - including her peeling, slicing and drying potatoes and cooking chips and eggs right in front of us!

W***y Russell certainly understood women and wrote for them beautifully

I went to Rayne Riding Centre yesterday to watch their dressage competition.

Those riders did so well in handling the horses and 'encouraging' them to go through their paces, with no perceptible means of control.

The weather chose to make it difficult, but the riders outfits and the way the horses had been groomed to perfection still shone through, despite the cold rain!

We may see one of them on the telly yet!!!
