So this pandemic lark has changed so much.

I’m still painting but at a limited capacity due to having to turn my hand at other things during lockdowns etc.

Please message me in advance should you wish to book for your party. I will do my very best to accommodate you or find someone within my network who is able to fulfil your requirements!

Probably the most amount of money I’ve spent in one transaction but enough to get me on my feet again. Thanks to the team at The Face Painting Shop - I have certainly missed the little trips to you!

I am taking bookings now, so please contact me if you would like a Face Painter and/or Glitter Bar at your events.

I am, of course, fully insured and will ensure your guests young and old are all safe!

Wow! The world really is opening up. In the past week I’ve secured three bookings and had to turn some down due to other commitments!

So it looks like the world will be opening up in the summer .... brushes at the ready!!!

Just some of the beauties I had the pleasure of adding some sparkle to on an island in Greece .... Covid free and some much needed dancing in the rain/sunshine ❤️

So I have just been advised that from 1st August I can return to Face Painting and Glitter Art.

I will be putting together a plan of action over the coming weeks to ensure all are safe.

If anyone has a gathering they require a face painter for, please drop me a messsge and I will try to assist you.

So Boris still hasn’t given any indication as to when we could potentially return to Face Painting - one of my colleagues spoke to the same insurer a week after I did and they said that we can’t even paint arms with limited queues.

It saddens me to think I could potentially not be able to paint this side of Christmas but obviously your safety and that of my family comes first.

I have had to fill my time during lockdown with a mixture of home schooling, part time work and general Mum duties so I haven’t had a chance to get the brushes out!

I miss all my customers old and new and my wonderful colleagues I have the pleasure of calling friends!

So having spoken to my insurance company today, I will not be returning to face painting/make up any time soon. Until the government have given clear guidelines on how parties can go ahead, I will be unable to take bookings.

Please be aware that if anyone is offering Face Painting or Glitter art for parties during this time, their insurance will be VOID and they will be breaking the law. Doesn’t matter how ‘professional’ they are - they become an amateur when they do this!
So even when the restrictions are lifted again please be wary!

I hope to have you in my chair again this year; but if I can’t - 2021 is set to be a busy year. So, if you have things planned for next year - get in quick as March til September is ALWAYS busy but will be even busier!

If you have bookings for Christmas I can provisionally book you in and take further advice when it comes!

To all my clients that have upcoming parties events:

As a Face Painter I already take special precautions in keeping sanitary and hygienic to avoid cross contamination.

I will continue to do so but will ramp up the security measures to ensure you and your children are safe. I will use disposable applicators where possible, hand sanitizers will be available for myself and those who sit in my chair, all my brushes will be sprayed in between uses as well as being rinsed in the usual hygienic way. If you have any concerns about your booking in any way, please contact me.

Just did some Mad Max theme make up on my girl Kelly can’t wait to see the pro shots!!

Last week I celebrated 6 years of Face Painting - it’s been a bumpy ride and I’ve met lots of lovely people all along the way. Here’s my first Spider-Man and here’s a quick on the job one I did last week. The first one took about 10 minutes and the second one took about 4 mins if that!

Although my work still isn’t perfect, I’ve come a long way and will always continue to practice and try hard!

I’ve done some amazing events and parties over the last few years and I’m grateful to all those that support me! 💫🌈🎨
