I had the privilege of attending the launch of the brand new The Silverlining Charity book The Woodland Friends a couple of weeks ago!
This book was written by adults with an acquired brain injury, for children who have an acquired brain injury. The adults all attend the various groups the charity organises, and it was amazing to meet some of the people I've only ever seen on a zoom screen for our weekly music therapy group.
What an incredible group of people and thank you for inviting me to this special event! π π

Please get in touch if you would like a music therapist at your party or event! Music can provide opportunities for everyone to join in the fun in their own way πΆππ

A real pleasure to continue to work with this incredible group of people through The Silverlining Charity music therapy group.
You Don't Need Anything To Love is a song about love, written by the members of the group. Despite life's challenges, we are all still people, able to give love and be loved.
Well done everyone! ππΆ
For most of us, the world has returned to 'normal', whatever that looked like! But for others, the world continues to remain a closed space, especially with so many coughs and colds around.
Maisy loves her music therapy sessions offering her chances to communicate, vocalise and connect with others.
Online sessions continue to offer her those opportunities when the world around her becomes small - connection and communication should be a right, not a privilege!
Excited to be able to share with you all the wonderful song written by the members of our music therapy group at The Silverlining Charity.
The song highlights just how special the charity is and what it means to their members π
All of the lyrics were written by the members themselves and as I think you'll agree, are so so powerful πΆπ₯°
