As many of you are aware, I haven’t been able to offer any mobile treatments for over a week now due to my car being in the garage.

Andy visits me once a fortnight for a 60 minute treatment, usually a combination of deep tissue, muscular relaxation and Swedish massage as that’s what we’ve found works the best for his body.

He’s felt and I’ve found significant improvement in his upper body from these treatments, to the point where we are able to extend the time period between our sessions without negativily impacting our work so far!

Being able to positively impact someone’s life through massage is such an incredible feeling, whether that’s improving someone’s range of mobility, helping someone to relax and mentally unwind or getting someone ready for their next gym session.

Lymphatic drainage massage… what on earth is it? 🤔

LDM is a gentle type of massage that focuses on draining the lymphatic system by using specific massage techniques to move lymph from your body tissues, into your lymph nodes!

(Lymph is a clear fluid that bathes the tissues of your body, maintaining fluid balance and removes bacteria from tissues! In short, helps keep everything working and aids detoxing)

My favourite massage to give and to receive… Deep tissue massage!

Deep tissue massage provides both physical and psychological benefits, working to treat muscle pain and injuries BUT still helping you unwind mentally.

The saying “no pain, no gain” is long out of date!

People hear deep tissue and shudder, thinking they will be in agony, walking out of the treatment black and blue. In reality, the deep part of deep tissue, is working on the muscles situated deeper in the body.

You are in complete control of the entire session and have the opportunity to ask for a deeper or softer pressure!

Who am I?

In the years that Comfort Healing, which is now Calm and Correct has been around, I’ve never actually introduced myself…

My name is Ellie, I’m 23, slightly bonkers and have been in the industry for 6 years. I’m fully trained in level 2 & 3 beauty therapy and have done additional training in many things including; Lymphatic Drainage massage, pregnancy massage, derma-planing, micro-needling and more.

I’m Essex born and bred, moving to Somerset when I was 15, I have the ability to talk your ears off and always make sure to provide a comfortable and friendly environment for all my treatments, whether that’s a home visit or you coming to see me in the salon.

I provide treatments for pretty much everyone! Young (baby massage is a brilliant way to bond with your little one and also to help them relax) and old.
Male, female and lgbtq+
Neurodivergent and neurotypical.
And everyone else inbetween.
