Back in September we shared a post that planning had been granted on our Old Steine project, which was once offices. Work has been ongoing since then but we have had a few stalling moments, which have caused us some timing headaches! a break in, party wall/roof leak, COVID, utility set up's to name just a few. We are not going to dwell on this though, oh no! because this beauty of a property is underway!
Our Plan:
Change of use from offices to a four-storey (6 bedroom with en-suites) Holiday Let, with a large basement studio garden apartment. Set in the perfect location in the centre of Brighton, just a couple of minutesโ walk from the Palace Pier and the Royal Pavilion.

After our delays due to scaffolding and licensing for H&S reasons (the authorities would not accept the use of safety harnesses), we had to wait for specialist scaffolding and boarding to allow us to continue.
We are now in the final phases of 1st fix, all wiring and fire alarm systems going in as well as first fix plumbing. The final flooring is also going in on the ground floor and the exterior walls insulation is nearly complete.
Works will be blazing along now ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ with completion due 2nd/3rd week of March!
