Calling all Brighton crafters and collecters!

This is a big event in Henfield (15 minutes from Brighton by car) which pulls in lots of people from all over Sussex. Tables are available to antique collectors and craftspeople and are £20 each. If you have a second then take a look at this- It's gonna be super lovely event run by a group from Brighton. There's painting, silliness and all with the aim of showing off all the good stuff in the world by making a nice welcoming show home. With all the nasties in the world right now, here's a lovely something to counterbalance.

Made by Rosy was at last week's Go! Craft market at The Marlborough and will be at this week's one too! She makes beautiful jewellery - it's so much nicer and more personal to give someone you care about a handmade gift - it just so happens that there'll be plenty to choose from tomorrow night from 7pm.

Claire of Hello terry jewellery will be at tomorrow's market to help you guys out with your Christmas shopping. Come to Marlborough Pub & Theatre from 7pm to have a cheeky drink and a shop.

Ok, so I know it's the Daily Mail but Lucy of The Bird Draws has had an article written about her illustrations of overheard bus conversations. They're great, Lucy is great and I'm so super pleased that the Daily Mail has written something worth reading.

Artist captures the charming conversations she overhears on the bus Artist Lucy Perryman, from Brighton, posts the images to her Instagram page where they have been liked and shared hundreds of times. She said: 'I love that you get little snippets into people's lives'.

Greener Greens were selling at last Saturday's market...they also run a box scheme! Give them a call to find out more!

New this week is fabulous Spring Greens from Cherry Gardens. Not just another cabbage….the combination of this variety and a superb grower results in a biodynamic delight – sweet and delicate!

From the same grower we have purple sprouting broccoli – and the last biodynamic leeks. Michael Hall School continues to produce the beautiful Marvel lettuces – beautiful both in visibility and taste. Our local organic greens are Spinach, tatsoi and pak choi from Wild Country Organics, an excellent grower who is also supplying parsley, coriander and sorrel. Michael Hall School has some biodynamic parsley this week too.

Our apple range is from two growers in Kent – all are fabulous and very different tasting. Why not try them all over the next few weeks and let us know which one you prefer.

The gorgeous sunny weather has come just as our first peaches and nectarines arrive from Spain! This means that within a few weeks we have added strawberries, raspberries, local rhubarb, peaches and nectarines to our fruit catalogue. And we still have several varieties of local apples too.

It's THIS WEEK! Join LJ's Dub Shack and many, many others at Jubilee Square this weekend!

Yay! YUK FUN will be at Jubilee Square next weekend, along with all of the other brilliant artists and makers. There's still time if you'd like to join them!
