Shouldn't have said that Theatre Company
A company who explore the ugly truths of life. Co-Founders: Leila Tasher and Rosie Austin
…WE'RE BAACKK! Apologies for the radio silence, we are now back in action after over-indulging in a ridiculous amount of Easter eggs and spending some time adjusting to the life of being two self-employed performers (shout out to all our other fellow survivors out there😅) but we are now ready to get this show on the road.
Introducing the faces behind ‘Shouldn’t have said that’ Theatre Company (SHST) *No the acronym doesn't spell SH*T..but we like that you thought it did*
-LEILA TASHER - is a half Turkish highly skilled actress, comedy performer, singer and writer. Leila is known for brightening up the stage through her animated face and physical comedy performance style. She is so excited to see where SHST Theatre company takes her; be it on stage in a musical, play or a comedy sketch series. Leila has lots of life experience to bring to the company due to having what is called an invisible disability and is keen to use her platform to raise awareness through our company's platform. She is keen to apply to her Bridget Jones style life to create real and honest theatre.
-ROSIE AUSTIN - is a highly skilled actress, dancer, physical theatre performer and spoken word writer/poet. Rosie is known to capture the hearts of many through her inquisitive, heartfelt and relatable writing as well as her clowning performance style. Rosie has always aspired to work in film and television but also has a passion for theatre and audience interaction which she hopes to develop within the company.
🚨New Logo Alert!🚨Give us an oooooo, fancy right. Designed by our very own Rosie Austin, check out her artwork at .illustrations
Here at Shouldn’t have said that Theatre Company we aim to rip off the band-aid and share everyday stories that are too embarrassing to say out loud. We make punchy, laugh-so-hard-a-little-wee-comes-out content for a generation left to cope with a broken planet, broken politics and broken condoms. We want to tell the stories that others are often too afraid to tell. To put it bluntly, we are comedy with a heart. ✨
Another day of successful writing at Shouldn't Have Said That Theatre Co. means another step closer to sharing what we've been working on! ✨🌟💥
🚨*Announcement* 🚨As you would have noticed things are looking slightly different on this page, you may be thinking... Who are ‘Shouldn't have said that Theatre Company’ I don't remember following them... Well we’ve had a little switch up. It comes with a heavy heart to say that HAT Theatre Company has unfortunately lost one of its founding members. Our Beautiful Holly Hos has decided to focus her career in her ever growing platform of TikTok - A decision we are in full support of and couldn't be more proud and excited for her and her next chapter. So with this in mind…
Drum roll please… we are proud to present Co-Founders Leila Tasher and Rosie Austin’s New Company - ‘Shouldn’t have said that’ Theatre Company. A Company who explores the ugly truths of life.
✨Stay Tuned for some exciting announcements, new branding and projects coming up soon. Please spread the word and get following our new movement✨
