2 great chaos boards. One is symmetrical and the other is asymmetrical. A personal choice on preference but I think the symmetrical chaos board may edge it.

I will be with these 2 one off boards and many others this weekend in the Cotswolds.

I have this huge butcher block to flatten and finish when I get back to my workshop.

The order came in as the old chopped up counter top boards had run their course but the gap in the kitchen unit needed new tenants and I happily created them.

I should make more tables.

I saved this from my workshop where it was stacked with tools and taking damage. Can you believe I struggled to sell this! That's the problem with tables, you have to make them to order or have lots of storage. I have another similar table in the workshop just kinda in the way.

Cherry and walnut really compliment each other. This little and large set has come out very exceptionally well. The large board will be the main workhorse and little fella is for the garlics/herbs/chilli's, or just when you want to pop over there and chop something.

This board is a stunner.

End grain chaos board. The symmetrical pattern but asymmetrical details really work magnificently and the zebrano trim finishes it off.

Why end grain? Why not just a piece of wood? Cutting into the grain if the wood is far better for the knife, durability and they are antibacterial. That is why all butcher blocks are end grain.
