Well, that’s all the plants well and truly watered from the heavens opening this morning ☔️..Autumn is now slowly approaching so I’ve been gradually changing the shop around to suit all your needs.. jam & kilner jars, umbrellas, gorgeous doormats and incinerators are finding pride of place on the shelfs..

Eughhh.. what’s with this weather today??!! Even Spud has rolled over and gone back to sleep 🐾💤… As per week, new lines arrived at Handy Hardware.. 🤗

Short and sweet post this week as it was mostly compost that was delivered today as our shop is already bulging at the seams with stock😄..Spud is loving this warmer weather ..I’m sure he was a sun worshiper in a previous life 🐾.. please remember though, while its heating up over the next few days please walk your furry friends either first thing early in morning or later on the the evening when the temperatures have dropped a tad ❤️

Wowzers.. it’s a tad breezy out there today.. hope my washing is still on the line when I finish work 😳💨… lots of lush lines arrived this morning on our delivery .. Photo also included of me & my girls doing the Cancer Research muddy 5k last week…thank you to everyone that has sponsored me.. I’ll have the sponsor form in the shop for another week for those who have put their name down (and for those who still want to donate 😝)

Woohoo.. it’s Thursday which means, it’s one step closer to the weekend and it’s delivery day ❤️ lots of goodies arrived this morning.. (don’t forget we are closed this Sat 29th due to taking part in Race For Life 🏃‍♀️)

🎶The Sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hooray ☀️🎶… what a gorgeous day out there today .. perfect for pottering around the shop putting our pallet load of stock out.. with the odd excuse to nip outside and soak up the rays 😝.. this weekend is meant to be an absolute belter so, make sure your stocked up on gardening supplies and bits for the BBQ.. ❤️

Well, getting the delivery in with that super strong wind was a challenge 😵‍💫.. is our summer ever going to arrive ?? Right, that’s my workout for today done… 3 pallets of goodies arrived this morning ranging from compost to air fresheners..Spud is currently also looking like he has done a hard days work ..lazing on the sofa… in the sun…😂🐾

What a gorgeous warm sunny day it’s been today.. I’ve been mega busy getting our delivery unloaded, priced & on the shelfs.. definitely in need of a large pink gin & lemonade tonight 😝

Teeny tiny top up delivery today on stock but huge amounts of compost being loaded into the back of our car for Mr Payne to go out and deliver…💪🏼.. this wet weather can cause havoc with slugs/snails in the garden having a munch at your plants but, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.. as well as pest control, we have pet & child friendly slug wool, copper tape & gel.. keep those beasties away from your plants without harming them, children or pets 🐌

Wooohoooo… It’s here.. the warmer days have finally arrived ☀️.. I’m making any excuse to go outside and ‘tidy’ the front of the shop to enjoy the sunshine 😝… Here at Handy Hardware we are TOTALLY packed out for everything you could possibly need for getting the garden in shape..wide selection of compost & top soil, bamboo & willow canes, pots & planters, pest remedies, as well as many popular household & DIY lines… ❤️…we may only be a small village shop but we certainly pack a punch when it comes to stock 💪🏼😃

Is Spring ever going to arrive ??!!.. that sunshine we had on Saturday was a right teaser 🥴… but, just in at Handy Hardware we have these delicious organic Sodastream cordials.. Summer Orange, Blackcurrant Bliss & Crisp Apple.. and they are all absolutely gorgeous ❤️…don’t forget we also do gas cylinder exchanges, bottles & Sodasteam machines…

It’s lovely out there today.. why does it make the working day much nicer when the sun is shining?? 😄.. HUGE delivery today.. some bits we ordered from the trade show have arrived .. I’m not sure we can cram in any more into our shop 😳😂 it was Spuds birthday yesterday so he is currently sleeping off his steak & birthday cake.. 🐾

Oooh.. I do love a trade show.. ❤️..lots of lovely products ordered 😃.. so excited to get them delivered and in the shop ❤️

With the gradual lighter evenings & the daffodils & crocuses popping up everywhere Spring is definitely on its way 🌸🌼… our delivery today shows we are getting prepared for the planting season approaching .. with lots of other lush products also….❤️

Ewww, what an horrid day out their today ☔️.. Spud has the right idea staying wrapped up under a blanket in the warm 🐾.. lots of lovely new stock in on our delivery today.. I can’t resist these gorgeous new plant pots that have come in 🪴 perfect for the garden.. frost proof, 100% recycled plastic & UV resistant…

Well, what a mixed bag of stock that’s arrived today… must mean Spring is just around the corner.. small bags of compost to get you started on potting plants, beautiful flower pots, glass misters, & boxes of wildflowers which are great for bees & birds and then, on the other end of the spectrum, we have gloves & welly socks, hot water bottles & logs coal & kindling 😃… We may be small but we can certainly squeeze a lot in our small shop 😝

Brrrrr.. I was a tad chilly freezing getting the delivery in this morning 🥶.. Spud has definitely got the right idea catching a few warm rays on the sofa 🐾… We have had a few new lines in today as well topping up on kindling, logs & coal.. ❤️
