Not long now (well a week to be precise) until the next BMCC TT (10 miles) on the Wineham Loop next Tuesday evening. First rider off at 7pm, enter on the day from 6.30pm. Free to Mitre members, £5 (cash only) otherwise. TT and Road bike Cats, Open and Female, and age categories. We are blessed with some new tarmac on some of the route, which is a Brucie-bonus

If you need any more information please just ask or visit CTT website (will try and post link), otherwise please spread the word and invite others. Oh, as usual there is no parking at the start but it is local enough to ride to and back (or there is the pub round the corner that may or may not require you to enjoy a refreshing glass of something after the event in lieu of parking).

p.s FYI the next TT is on the same course on the 20th Aug, followed by two Hill Climbs on Mill Hill on the 27th Aug and 3rd Sept. All at 7pm.... See you there I hope. Photo by Paul Carpenter.

Come along and give club cycling a try with Brighton Mitre CC 🏳️‍🌈 on our Pride ride - it’s a led social ride of about 29 miles/47km with café stop, and we'd love all kinds of people to come and join the ride with our friendly and inclusive local club. All we ask is that you have a road or hybrid style bike in good working order, a cycle helmet, are fairly confident riding on roads (although we'll be heading out to some lovely lanes) and are fit enough to ride that distance in a morning. It's a non-drop ride and we'll split into small steady groups on the road for safety, sociability and support, so no need to worry about being the slowest or the least experienced. No need to register beforehand, but if you would like to let us know you’re coming, or if you have any questions, just say so in the comments. We’ll be following our usual Sunday rides formula, meeting from 9 for a 9.30 start setting off in small groups; we'll sort participants into pace/confidence groups so everyone is more at ease. We have plenty of experienced ride leaders there on the day, and Proper Coffee in Hassocks are expecting us and are stocking up on cake! The route (basic route downloadable here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/47313294 ) will have two options for getting back to Brighton, over the D**e for those who are up for that, and cycle path to Waterhall for the less keen climbers. We look forward to meeting you!
