NOV 27 - Ceremony East Coast + TREMOURS + Ghost Patterns

As part of their US and UK tour, we have a special co-headline event with Ceremony East Coast & TREMOURS of the United States - With support from London’s own: Ghost Patterns

Ceremony East Coast of NYC is John and Sandra Fedowitz. Memebrs of A Place to Bury Strangers. John is also a former member of the well-known 90s shoegaze band Skywave. The two-piece invokes dance with an intense live show: Drone bass lines, white noise guitars, savage drums and intense vocals. Nothing polished, highs and lows. Each live show is raw, real and Ceremony style.

TREMOURS brings a mix of shoegaze, dream pop, and post-punk, blending hazy, drifting guitars with urgent, pulsating drums. Formed in LA in 2021 by Lauren Andino and Glenn Fryatt, the duo’s music captures themes of loneliness with a calming, yet intense, sound. They’ve toured across North America and Europe, NSheadlined Canada’s Cherry Cult Fest, and are set to release their debut album in 2024. Catch them on their first UK tour.

GHOST PATTERNS of London have quickly garnered attention across the shoegaze, psych and post-punk scenes. Elements of their influences can be traced back to late 60’s psychedelia, the independent post-punk scene, through to the shoegazing era of the early 90’s. Expect swathes of layered guitars, icy synth textures washed in reverb, juxtaposed with pounding bass lines and abrasive drums to round off the sonic palette.

The AK/DK duo create improvised layers of fuzzed-up synths, delays and thunderous double drums.

Known for their high-energy and structural abandon as a live act, their stream of largely improvised layers of fizzing arpeggios and crushing motorik drums has earned them places on stages and at festivals all around the UK, Europe and South America.

They’ve performed at Bluedot, Deer Shed, Manchester Psych, Latitude, End of The Road, ArcTanGent and Green Man, and have toured with Dan Deacon, The Dandy Warhols, Fujiya & Miyagi and Zombie Zombie.

Thick Richard is a critically acclaimed spoken word artist from Manchester, UK. His work, characterised by sharp wit and incisive social commentary, has earned him a dedicated following and widespread recognition in the UK’s spoken word and poetry scenes.

Massive Luxury Overdose draw upon the diverse and dark sounds of gothic post-punk, new wave pop, early industrial noise, art rock, proto-techno, and 00s Electroclash.

SEPT 28 - OFFIE MAG PRESENTS: Jadasea, Niontay + RedLee + support

Offie Mag bring Jadasea and Niontay to Brighton as part of Jadasea’s UK tour.

Jadasea is a crucial fixture in the rap scene of South London - where he was born and raised. He first gained attention as a member of Sub Luna City, alongside his bandmates King Krule, Jesse James Solomon, Rago Foot, and Black Mack.

Jadasea is an important bridge between London and New York City through his collaborations with rappers such as Wiki and MIKE (both of whom he has toured with).

He has released a collaborative project with MIKE titled Old Earth, and more recently released The Corner: Vol. 1, a collaborative project with NYC producer Laron.

Through a steady stream of solo releases, such as half-life (entirely produced by King Krule), LOOKALIVE!, and time will tell, Jadasea has carved a unique sonic lane for himself.

He has an impeccable ear for a kind of murky production that melds seamlessly with his ultra laid back cadence, making it so the beat and vocals on his tracks weave in and out of each other.

SEPT 18 - MXTR launch party: Dred, Orla Rae, Tommy Jules, Hatter

Brighton’s legendary non-profit youth music organisation, Audio Active launch their latest project ‘MXTR’ with a live show.

What is MXTR? An artist accelerator that aims to kickstart sustainable careers and empower artists through complete creative control with a clear vision of supporting the first steps into a commercial music career. 

We are celebrating this exciting new chapter on Wednesday 18th September from 6pm with live performances from Dred and Orla Rae, featuring a DJ set by Tommy Jules and hosted by Hatter.
