Feeling gutted today 😔

We were supposed to be doing a 30 mile training walk but due to me dropping a storage crate on my foot yesterday whilst clearing the garden, I had to abandon before we’d even got 5 mins in! My left big toe is swollen and bruised and as soon as I put boots or trainers on, I can’t walk without pain 😖

Therefore I’m on the spin bike to get a bit of toe safe cardio!

Walk now rescheduled for week Thursday and I hope my toe will be healed by then 🙏

Although I’m disappointed, I know I have to let my toe Gael properly so it was the right decision.

Yesterday’s training walk 25 miles (bit more than we thought it would be as we were aiming for 24 miles) 😆 in 7 hours 18. I love walking in the sun, but I did find it tough yesterday, I even ran out of water 3 miles before finishing for the first time ever! I usually finish training walks with plenty of water left over! Not going to lie, it wasn’t my favourite route, especially the last 7 miles walking alongside the A27! And my new walking shoes gave me blisters, don’t usually get blisters! But at least I know this now and not on the event. Back to my trusty old walking boots from now on 🥾 But our final destination was our lovely friend’s house where they looked after us all evening with a delicious barbecue, lovely cocktails and a good old catch up. Thank you gorgeous Budd family for your hospitality and making that last 7 miles bearable because we knew we were coming to see you ❤️ Another #trainingwalk done, one more big one to go before the big day with a few smaller ones thrown in 😬 100km #thamespathchallenge 😬 Saturday 14th September 🙌 If you would like to sponsor me a quid or two, I am raising money for the #martletshospice ♥️ link below 🔗 https://www.justgiving.com/page/hannah-quinn-1698160571453 #walking #charitywalk #100kmwalk #ultrachallenge #trainingwalk #25milewalk

Annoyingly my strava only recorded half of my walk 😭 Anyway, just under 10 miles of city street and beach walking done ✔️ #brightonbeach #hovebeach #brighton Not long to go for the 100km #thamespathchallenge 😬 Saturday 14th September 🙌 If you would like to sponsor me a quid or two, I am raising money for the #martletshospice ♥️ link below 🔗 https://www.justgiving.com/page/hannah-quinn-1698160571453

I only ride once a year on holiday in Cornwall 🐎 yesterday we did our usual beach hack along beautiful Perranporth beach 😍 I definitely think my riding could be better 😬 the staff at @reen_manor riding stables were excellent as always and the horses just brilliant 🥰 #horseriding #beachhack #holiday #camping

Every now and then, I like to climb a rope, just to see if I still can 🙃 #brightonpersonaltrainer #pt #ropeclimb #strong #strongwoman #gymgirl

Played it safe at #obeachibiza this year with some chin ups and no #poleinvert 😆🙈 Take me back 😭 #ibiza #chinups #poolparty #obeach #holiday #❤️ibiza #backday #pt #fitnessover40

This is my fabulous PT client who also happens to be a fellow kettlebell instructor and kettlebell training enthusiast. Nick asked if there were any good #kettlebell and #Bosu combo’s we could do in a session and this is what I came up with 💪 This is taking core strength and stability to the next level 🙌 Thank you Nick for giving these new combo’s a go 😁 #kettlebellbosu #kettlebelltraining #kettlebellcombo #kettlebellfit #kettlebellstrong #kettlebelltraining #kettlebellworkout #igkettlebell #bosutraining #bosucombo

Haven’t been to Boulder Brighton for years so wasn’t sure I’d still be able to do it! Lots of fun, broke most of my nails off and can feel the upper body DOMS already 🙈😬 #bouldering #climbing #upperbodyworkout #sundayfunday #pt

I hate doing squats, just don’t particularly like doing them! But they are a great exercise, so I just get them done 🤪😂💪 #squats #strong #fitnessover40 #pt #legday

What an invigorating sea swim with the gorgeous @peachystarling yesterday 🥶🤩 thank you for getting me back in the sea, I really did but really didn’t want to do it 😬😂

What a way to spend a Saturday 🤩 This was our largest m2m fitness team to date and what an incredible job we did smashing the #toughmudder London South course in Crawley💥 We had people on the team who have completed Tough Mudder before and it was the first time for some others. This year we also had our youngest team member ever, the incredible Imogen who completed every single obstacle despite never having done it before and despite being a bit terrified of some! It was great to see some new obstacles and some returning favourites 😜 Well done to everyone on the team for smashing those fears and getting through the course. And big thank you to all of our fabulous supporters, cheering us on and keeping us fuelled with sweets 🍭 For now, it’s time to catch up on the muddy washing, until next time…. Whenever that may be 😜 #toughmudder2022 #toughmudderlondonsouth #ocrtraining #ocr #fitnessfamily #toughmudderfamily #tm #tmfamily #mud #fitfamily #igfitness

What an amazing weekend completing the south Coast Challenge 2022 with the most awesome team 🤩 We had a strong start despite the heat and hills but the last third proved to be both physically and mentally challenging 🤪 Sadly due to injury and exhaustion we lost some team members along the way, it was a tough challenge and you have to expect the unexpected with such an event and despite how well training has gone, things can still go wrong. It has been amazing to see today that the amount I have raised for @martletshospice has increased from yesterday morning to today, thank you to each and every wonderful person who donated ❤️ I won’t lie, the thought of the sponsorship was the only thought keeping me moving forward at difficult times during the night 😖 It was so amazing to have so much support from our wonderful friends and family, throughout the day, surprise visits and support into the small hours of the morning. I can’t express how much that meant, particularly when things were getting really tough! Nat, who was unable to join due to health complications this week, we missed you, but seeing you at the rest stops with your positivity and posters was much needed and I feel that you were definitely with us every step of the way. And thank you for goody bags, that was so kind and thoughtful 🥰 James, we were the 3 amigos until very nearly the end, but you had to listen to your body and do what was best for your health. Richard and Paul, you did incredibly well under difficult circumstances and you should all feel so proud of getting as far as you did. And big special thanks to Claire for helping me through intense ankle pain for the last leg of the course, it was dark, lonely and blooming tough! And I don’t want to walk downhill on a ‘bobbly’ path any time soon! But Claire patiently hung in there with me and we made it to the end, thank you 🙏 I’m really quite tired now so need to think about going to sleep 😴 very soo
