A quick update!
Our new (old) house has much more work to do than was expected so Loveabowl - Vale de Prazeres’s opening will be later than planned 😞 looking forward to meeting and serving you all in the near future and Thankyou for all the new likes and saves. Its so good to finally be here in Portugal 🇵🇹

We cook meals from all over the world from Sri Lanka to Mexico and Thailand to Ethiopia! We deliver hot meals, once a week and cook a different meal each week. All our meals are plant based and vegan and full of flavour.

Having enjoyed the Cauliflower wings at The Roundhill a bit too much, I felt the need to re-create.

Crispy deep fried cauliflower wings with a spicy gochujang glaze, served with ginger & chilli pickled red cabbage, spring onion, wasabi mayo and toasted sesame seeds, on a bed of home grown salad leaves. Delicious. One for the future dream Portuguese cafe 😁

🌿 MARVELLOUS UMAMI SALAD - A wonderfully colourful, fresh salad with an unusual but delicious umami dressing made with white miso, maple syrup and apple cider vinegar.
With spiralised carrots and courgettes and shredded purple cabbage, red and yellow peppers, bean sprouts and spring onion.
🌿 TAHU GORENG - Basically translates as fried tofu, but these little balls of deliciousness are much more than that. Flavoured with ginger, turmeric, chilli powder and lemongrass and rolled in breadcrumbs and deep fried until crispy.
🌿 BROWN RICE - This rice has a distinctly nutty flavour, earthy and nutritious and perfectly cooked.

A bit of a crowd pleaser this one. Not particularly Indian in origin but tasty none the less. Typically made with chicken, but just as good with jackfruit. With green peppers in a creamy tomato based spiced sauce and topped with coriander.
🌿 BOMBAY BRIGHTON POTATOES - Roasted new potatoes in a delicious, thick sauce, spiced with garam masala, ginger, garlic and turmeric.

Loveabowl Tiffin Club is looking for a part time, experienced and creative plant based chef for the Brighton & Hove delivery area. Loveabowl Tiffin Club delivers plant based meals every Friday night in traditional stainless steel Indian tiffins which get delivered and then collected the next day by our drivers making Loveabowl a unique, circular economy meal delivery business which prides itself on helping to reduce food delivery waste.

You will ideally have, or have access to a fully equipped kitchen but if you don’t it is not a deal breaker, we could work something out.

Loveabowl is a new business, set up in March 2020 and has been very successful from the start. There is huge opportunity for growth and to start delivering more nights of the week instead of just Fridays. I am looking for someone who would be interested in growing the business and the pay would be dependant on how many tiffins are sold, so it would be of interest to someone with drive and an entrepreneurial spirit.

This is not just a job, but an opportunity to help run a fantastic little successful start-up business with plenty of potential if you have the enthusiasm and enjoy cooking wholesome, healthy plant based meals.

You would be required to:

Shop for the ingredients every week and prep in advance
Cook the meals - you will be notified in advance how many tiffins to prepare for
Give the tiffins to the delivery driver on the delivery day (we deliver in 3 sittings, 5-6pm, 6-7pm and 7-8pm.
Receive back the tiffins the next day and re-wash them (a dishwasher is required)
