Available for you to pop in and purchase. Sadly we cannot take any further orders at this late stage so availability is on a first come basis.

Yes I can't believe I'm writing this already but Christmas is 5 weeks away!
We have opened the Christmas order book and are ready to help make your Christmas dinner one to remember. We are not currently able to take orders online but will gladly take orders over the phone if you cannot make it into store. We like to operate this way as we can get to know exactly what you would like and ask questions a computer wouldn't think of as yet.
Please be aware we do take a non-refundable deposit, so please have a credit/debit card ready and means to make note of your order number.

Unfortunately, problems at Springs smoked salmon means they can't supply us at the moment.
We have however, reached out to our friends at Rebel based in Shoreham who produce fabulous ethically sourced, eco wrapped, Oak smoked salmon.
Stocking 100g sliced packs now

After a short gap, we now have Clonakilty black and white puddings in stock. Considered one of the best black pudding producers in the UK & Ireland, its no wonder we run out.

We would like to address a rumour that has been brought to our attention.

We have had several people mention to us a rumour that we are either selling up or even closing down. This is NOT true. We are trading as normal and are starting to make plans for Christmas.

We have now opened our Christmas book and will be taking orders either in the shop or via telephone. This is because we need to ask specific questions regarding any preparations or sizes.

Tuesday 29th August we will be closed in lieu of the bank holiday Monday, we hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone. This is always the bank holiday which signals the start of preparations for Christmas, and so we have a long weekend to give the guys and myself a final rest before hand.
We don't expect many people are already planning Christmas dinners just yet, when you do decide it is time though, we will have our order book open 🦃

We are optimistic for the weather this weekend as we have a nice selection of BBQ meats. We also have plenty of roasting joints just in case!

I will be staying open until 4.30pm this week so if you've braved the weather and gone out for the day I will be happy to help on your return.

Whether I sparked some guilt last week or just convenient, I am wanted at home this week! This means we will be closing our normal time of 3.30pm.

Another beautiful day, another beautiful specimen of an animal. Although we traditionally dry age our beef by hanging on the bone until just right, I have managed to get some beautiful sets of ribs that have been in a dry ager for 23days. We will finish them off and have them ready for next week. If you wish to reserve some please let us know as soon as possible. If they are a success, we will be getting more.

I will, once again, be staying open later today until 4.30pm* so if you can't get down before our normal closing time, don't panic, I'll be pleased to see you.

Lovely fresh, free range, ducks available and for today only we are offering them at £8.50/kg* while stock lasts. They can be frozen, so perhaps a nice option to save for Easter. For a few cooking ideas for duck check out our website, where you may find more inspiration.
