This week two of our pharmacies received a visit from election candidates.

Our Durrington Team welcomed Labour Candidate Beccy Cooper to their pharmacy joined by Janet Morrison from Community Pharmacy England and Julia Powell from Community Pharmacy Sussex and Surrey.

Our Sittingbourne team received a visit from Conservative Candidate Aisha Cuthbert joined by Mark Anyaegbuna from Community Pharmacy Kent.

During the visits, the teams highlighted the critical issue of underfunding in community pharmacies, which has led to widespread closures across the nation. They emphasised the essential role community pharmacies play as the first point of contact for patients, providing vital healthcare access. Ensuring sufficient funding is imperative to maintain this crucial service and continue supporting patient health and well-being.

Due to a car crashing into our pharmacy, our Fitzalan (Littlehampton) pharmacy is not safe to enter. From Monday, the pharmacy will be temporarily relocated to 86 High Street, Littlehampton BN17 5DX.

The pharmacy's temporary location is next door to an existing Kamsons Pharmacy. Patient's who are nominated to our Fitzalan branch, should look out for signage to ensure they are visiting the correct pharmacy.

Impetigo is a bacterial skin infection that's very contagious in young children but not usually serious.

Impetigo starts with red sores or blisters. The blisters burst and leave crusty, golden-brown patches. It is very common in young children, but anyone can get it.
